Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I too do not have time to continue to engage [redacted] as it is apparent she is not capable in delivering a proposal like she sent me through the mail, due to Farmers Insurance protocols, or to her own desire to continue the deception. My email response to the policy she presented is as follows: "One again [redacted] , you quote does not match your mailed advertisement...FYI, you solicitation reflected the following limits: Dwelling - $238,00Separate Structures - $23,800Personal Property - $178,00Loss of Use - $95,200Personal Liability - $1,000,000Medical Payments - $5000Extended Replacement Cost at 125% of Dwelling - includedContents Replacement Cost - includedIdentity Fraud - includedAll Perils - 1% Annual Perium - $783 Now, if you (or Farmers Insurance) are able to write a policy with the above limits, I will purchase it. Like I have stated before, it is more than the premium price, the limits also have to match you advertised proposal." The policy she offered included the following limits: Dwelling - $237,00Separate Structures -11,850Personal Property - $130,350Loss of Use - $23,700Personal Liability - $1,000,000Guest Medical - $5000Extended Replacement Cost $296.250Identity Fraud - included annual premium - $784.70 By comparing the limits you will see that the advertising mailed to me offered to deliver one thing, but later what she tries to deliver is a policy with less protection and a higher price. One again, if [redacted] , or Farmers Insurance, is able to sell the policy at the limits that she sent me in the mailed proposal...I would buy....I do not think they can because that policy never existed other than as to bait customers to call and then switch the limits to a higher priced policy. Farmers Insurance and [redacted] have made no attempt to sell the policy in the mailed proposal at the advertised price and exact limits. I would buy it if offered. Sincerely, [redacted]

Mr*** received a letter with a quote solicitation from our agency and that letter clearly states that this is just a quote and that the client must contact us to get a firm rate for their home Mr*** called and *** worked up the quotes He offered him some endorsements that
we have available When Mr*** did not like the rate, *** revised the quote to remove the extra endorsements Mr*** demanded to talk to me I talked with Mr*** and about the quotes and what we could offer him, but he was so ugly to *** and to me that I told him he needed to call another Farmers agent and buy the policy from them When he would not stop being rude, I politely told him that I was done speaking with him and that I was hanging up the phone and to have a nice day I love my clients and I love what I do and I do not want to deal with a client who is rude The quote is attached to this response He is welcome to go to any other Farmers agent's office and purchase the policy Let me know if more clarification is needed *** *** ###-###-####

I'm sorry, but I don't have time to go back and forth with a person who just wants to argue.  I will email him the quote, but if he wants to do business with Farmers Insurance, he will have to find another agent to work with.  I will not be responding any further to this complaint or to Mr. [redacted], other than to send him the quote.  Thanks!  ~[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I reject this response because like her business advertisement, her response is basically untrue and deceptive. The first quote I received from [redacted] was with much reduced limits, and the later quotes that included the advertised limits were much higher than her mailed solicitation for my business. Both [redacted] and later [redacted] were unwilling or unable to detail why there was such a large difference from the mail solicitation and the quote I received later. I am sorry that [redacted] thought I was "ugly" and "rude", but she probably just applies labels to people who press them for answers when they are evasive. One should ask the question, why do they not have the answers to the difference in price, and additionally one should ask how many who received the mailed solicitation actually received a policy with the quoted limits for the quoted price. That is the question that I hope the [redacted] Department of Insurance is able to determine. Like I told [redacted] before she abruptly ended our conversation, if she can produce a policy for me with the quoted limits and the quoted price...I will buy it. Everything else she says is a smoke screen covering her deceptive mailed solicitation for business.
Regards,
[redacted]
