The reason why I performed a used car inspection is that I wanted to look this whole car over before the owner started investing money into something that was not worth putting money into after I completed a visual inspection on his whole car then I informed him I did not see a lot of red flags...
wrong with it and I do feel safe proceeding on I informed him that I did not recommend doing anything to the sunroof and let's just concentrate on getting the car running customer agreed and advised me to proceed on the first thing I checked to see if it was getting a signal two the engine control module in the fuel pump system both of them checked fine and within Factory specification then I check the timing to make sure it was in the correct order and it was then I check the compression and I found that the engine has no compression ask the customer what kind of gas has he been using and he told me he just use regular gas I told them this was a high octane Performance Engine and you must use premium octane fuel for this particular car told customer that he has developed a brass sleeve Honest Engine and it can be repaired but he must use high octane fuel from now on perform necessary repairs to get this car running also inform customer after repairs are done that it is crucial for him to take it and drive it on the expressway to burn out all the old gas in so that his compression rings can reseal properly call customer told him car is ready to come home customer did not come for 2 weeks later started and let the car run the day that he was coming the car run for about 45 minutes to an hour car started sputtering and cut off perform Diagnostics compression is still good performed electrical test electrical still sending a signal perform fuel pressure test found fuel pump with no pressure perform fuel octane test octane has destroyed fuel pump from overworking inform customers that I understood he just got to put a lot of money in it and I will help him install a fuel pump for half the price that I normally would customer denied repairs and had it towed to another location where he said that they will put it in for $150 in a jaguar like I said I will help the customer he supplied the fuel pump and necessary parts I will install it as a courtesy to help this customer out I can't see nobody installing a fuel pump on a Jaguar for $150 everything on a Jaguar's but I would help him to do it as a courtesy as long as he supplies all the necessary parts
