Review: AM Home Delivery was contracted by [redacted] to deliver a KitchenAid Refrigerator that I ordered September [redacted]. On Monday September [redacted] I received a call from the AM Driver stating that he would be at my house in 15 minutes. I explained that I had not received any prior notice of his arrival date or time and could not return to my home in time. He told me not to worry, that he would contact his dispatcher and that they would be able to re-deliver the following day. I never heard back from the dispatcher. When I called, he was rude and unhelpful and worse of all, would not provide detail of the deliver. He only said they would call me the following day to schedule a delivery. They called me back on Wednesday to say they would deliver the fridge on Thursday (today) between 3pm and 7pm and promised to call approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival. No surprisingly, they never showed up today nor did they ever call to say the deliver could not be made.AM Trucking's lack of execution and failure to fulfill their promise is appalling.Desired Settlement: I paid an extra $50 for their "gold" deliver service. Obviously, it has been nothing but rust. AM Trucking has failed miserably. I request a full refund of the $50 and additional compensation for continuing to waste my time.

Review: Damage , crushing of an english antique table from [redacted], mahogany. Price 6 500 $

I have hired AM Trucking to transfer 4 pallets of my personal belonging and furniture from NY to LA.

AM Trucking unlawfully combined my 4pallets into 3 pallets to save space. Which is NOT allowed I paid for 4 . and its agains their policy.

Hence completely crushing the antique table so that all of the legs were snapped and broken of !!!

I have been sending them numerous emails for 5 months and calling few times a day , all I have been given is a run around and being on hold for hours at the time. I have never received a call back. All I received was a letter offering me money for transport back ($700) , I replied that the value of the table (I have necessary documentation) is 6 500$ and that 700 is insufficient .

I never heard back and was unable to reach anyone .Desired Settlement: I believe I am entitled to have the value of the table paid.

Or at least settlement close to its price.

The table was shipped by a different from Germany ,where it was purchased, and arrived in US customs no problem then AM Trucking picks up my 4 pallets and combines them on top of each other damaging the table .

W are aware of this claim, and have already responded. This was not a customer, it was a former employee who we were doing a favor for. She asked us to deliver used merchandise, and she was well aware we do not insure used merchandise not in its original packaging.

2. I was a regular customer , I have paid 700 $ for the transfer.I was never notified on insurance, nor on fkt they can damage or steal and not be responsible.

This is not a natural disaster that damaged my pallets. But their ABSOLUTE disregard for an agreement , IF I PAY FOR FOUR

3.If you are in business of transferring goods I believe you are obligated to know what you doing , otherwise is a cheating and misrepresentation of your expertise .

4. I HAVE RECEIVED ONLY ONE RESPONSE IN NOVEMBER , 2 MONTHS AFETER FILING THE CLAIM . AND THEY

NEVER REPLIED ON MY RESPONSES AND MY PHONE CALLS. AND OR PAID ANY DAMAGE AS THEY PROMISED.

I cannot confirm what it looked like when it was shipped to Germany but by the time we received them in NY to ship to you it was not in such condition. Once again we do not insure product that is not in original packaging from manufacturing, used product or re conditioned product does not get insured. If we left it he way it arrived to us iI can assure you it might have not even made it to your home.

I have documentation from US Customs and from the warehouse Am Trucking picked up my shipment , signed by their driver, that they picked up FOUR pallets , yet they they delivered THREE.

I believe this is sufficient prove that the mistake and combining of pallets were made by AM Trucking.

Delivery was supposed to be Saturday between 3 PM and 7PM. We arrived home to wait and at 5:55 I saw a missed call. I tried to call back and after numerous attempts the driver answered at 6:37 and said he came by but we weren't home. We never received at knock at the door or doorbell ring. The driver said "you have to reschedule next week, I am already at home". Customer service for trucking company was nonexistent, they offered to reschedule 4 days later. They were paid in advance for installation of my 3 appliances and refunded the installation charges and said they would deliver but not install?!?! How is that any help at all?

Review: Driver came by on Xmas eve. Did not knock on door. Just left a note in the mailbox and left. Me and my two sons were home all day including my dog who barks at everyone called am to complain. [redacted] was rude and tried to make me out a liar. Argued with me about 24 min with no resolution. My wife tried to deal with them also. Was very rude and lied about being open on Saturday and advised me to call then. I ordered a fridge from a a plus rated company to find out they have a delivery service with a f plus ratingDesired Settlement: I want my product delivered and be compensated $100 dollars for my wasted day off of work I also want an apology for rudeness

I had a table delivered and after the drivers left the top was unpacked and assembled then we noticed 2 of the corners were damaged.the distributer let am trucking know and they refuse to take responsibility.

Review: When AM delivered my refrigerator they damaged the door going into the house and the delivery men said the company would call in the morning to arrange for repairs. They never called so I called them and they asked that I submit pictures and quotes to have it repaired, I have done this also. I have been waiting for 4 months on them to pay for the damage and I call and get no response and send emails and get no answer. Review: AM Home Delivery was supposed to deliver a television I purchased from an online retailer (All Time TVs, Inc.) to my home address between the hours of 12pm and 4pm on Thursday, September *, 2013. They selected the time window for delivery, which I accommodated by taking a personal day, and they also agreed to call me approximately 30 minutes prior to delivery so that I could be sure to be at home to receive the delivery. On the day of the scheduled delivery, instead of calling me by 3:30pm, they wait until 4pm to call me, by which time I had given up and left my house to make it to my next appointment at work. They then proceed to leave me a voicemail saying essentially that the failed delivery was my fault and that they would try to redeliver, but only with a $75 redelivery charge. I call them back and leave a message explaining that the failed delivery is because of their error and, consequently, they should redeliver without charge. A few days later, they leave me yet another voicemail saying they will need to charge me $75 for redelivery plus a $50 for "storage". I have now tried to reach their office multiple times to reschedule delivery, but to no avail.Desired Settlement: AM Home Delivery should delivery my goods as promised, and it would also be appropriate for them to compensate me in some way for the inconvenience they have caused.

Review: 2 gas stoves were ordered from [redacted] and to be delivered 11/** with fast shipping. However, you did not have it listed as fast shipping and it did not get here before Thanksgiving when I needed them. I spoke several times with the delivery person and told them I had cancelled the order after it failed to be delivered late on 11/** . I then received another call from a driver saying they were going to deliver [redacted]. I told them the order was cancelled. Then again I received a call saying they would be delivered on 12/** I again told them the order was cancelled. When I went to the tracking number today, it shows they were delivered on 12/**... However, they were not delivered to my address. I am not in possession of these items and have never beenDesired Settlement: I need a letter stating I never received this merchandise and that it was returned to [redacted] with some signature of receipt. Review: I purchased a refrigerator from appliance connection which uses AM home delivery service for their " white glove" deliveries. This company was extremely difficult to get a hold of. I left several messages on voicemails and received very poor communication back. Twice I was told I would be contacted at a later date to complete the delivery scheduling, but was never contacted. When the refrigerator was finally delivered, it certainly was not "white glove". Several of the stickers, tape, and packing materials were left on the refrigerator and the HUGE box was left, full of trash, in the middle of my garage. I had to bag up the garbage and break down the box myself. This company has horrible service.Desired Settlement: I was charged for "white glove delivery", but that is certainly not what I received. I am requesting a refund of the white glove service charge.

I did get through to a Lady in named [redacted] who stated to me that she would have someone call me yesterday and that did not happen also I got through to her again and she acted like she did not remember and again stated she would have some one call again still have not happened

When I got through to a person here in the [redacted] office he was very rude and I asked for a supervisor and he stated they were to busy to talk to me and he hung up on me

Review: we ordered a tv that was suppost to be delivered using this company.it involved being inspected before signing driver said my wife was taking too long and needed to just sign that she was rded and could just sign with out calling me before she inspected it.she called me at work and asked if it was ok to sign because she had put on paper work that I was not there if there in case of a issue ,and was going to sign below it . he pushed my wife and said he was just going to take the tv .there were two drivers the other one was waiting in the truck to leave .when he pushed here she started to yell at this time he called for the other drive so my wife got out of there way and they grabbed the tv and took it out the front door and left. contacted the office and they said they took my tv because of fraud they said that because I install security cameras and monitors and had some at my home for a up coming job . was told its there policy to take my tv because I had to much electronics .had never heared of this before now they are refuseing to return tv when I am home and after my wife was pushed I would not let this company come back when she is here alone she is afraid of what they might do now that they are madDesired Settlement: I want the tv delivered when I am here when I want not when they say and I want and to be able to inspect it before I sign because I don't know what did to it.

Review: I puchased appliances through [redacted] Am Home delivery was contracted to deliver them. When they showed up they have lost my range. I have called many many times left on holf for over an hour, told they would contact me back and they do not when I asked for corporate I am placed on hold and left like that for the rest of the day. I spent $900.00 on this electric range and it is paid for. I do not have my range I consider this stealing. Review: We have purchased a refrigerator through fumfie.com The part of the service we purchased was white glove service and when the delivery man was brining in the refriegrator, they scratached the hardwood floor. The refrigerator door was also dinged from delivery, but I was informed to contact fumfie to resolve this issue. As instructed by fumfie.com, the damaged floors has to be handled through claims department on AMTrucking. I have sent all the necessary info to AMtrucking claims department. This includes, the signed statement, pcitures/videos, two estimates.

I have received an automated message saying that it will take them 30 days to process it. It has been more than that and I have not received any thing regarding this.

Also, I tried to call them several times, but I can't get through. They have not responded to my emails.Desired Settlement: The lowest cost to refinish the floor from my estimates was $1800. I would like them to pay this to fix my hardwood floor.

Review: In March, I purchased a range from [redacted] via [redacted] contracted with AM Trucking Home Delivery to deliver the stove, which arrived March **. In the course of delivery, they gouged and scratched my hardwood floors, gouged the door jamb between the dining room and living room rather than unpack the box so the stove would fit through the doors. Damage estimates are between $2,000 and $3,000. I have been trying since March to get AM Trucking to pay for damages. I have given them everything requested: a statement of damage with photos, two estimates for repairs, and followed up numerous times. Each time, I get an automatic response from the company and nothing else.

The Tracking Number for my order was: [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like the company to pay for repairs to my wood floors, one of which was a new kitchen floor laid the day before.

Review: Their driver attempted to make delivery on December **, 2013. It was scheduled for a between 2 and 6 pm delivery. I waited all afternoon until 6:30 pm and then left to take care of other matters. Was across town when I received a call from the driver at 6:45 saying that he was right around the corner. I told him I was across town, but would head that way. He called me back a little after 7 saying he was there. I told him I was near, but traffic was heavy--but shouldn't be long. By the time I got there, he already left. I waited all day for him and then he couldn't wait 10 minutes for me to get there. So not only did I waste all day waiting at home, I wasted my evening rushing back to meet the driver and he did not have the courtesy to wait or inform me that he was just going to leave so I did not waste more time. The package was for a Christmas present. Therefore, now it will not arrive in time. They have been non responsive to phone calls.Desired Settlement: Delivery of order by Christmas and an apology for wasting my time. If not delivered by Christmas, then some form of cash settlement for the problem.

This issue has been resolved, as per the customers request it will be delivered before Christmas (today) We do apologize that we were running late, unfortunately in the trucking business we try our best to give our customers as accurate a time frame as possible, but between traffic and deliveries taking a lot longer we were later then our time frame we gave the customer. Our drivers did wait 20 minutes and then had to move on as we had many more deliveries to make that evening and could only wait so long.

Review: Essentially, they won't be able to tell you the day the delivery will take place until the night before. Their schedules are not completed in advance, just the day before. Their expectation is that the customer will be available to them upon their desired day & time frame otherwise the item won't be delivered. Individuals are busy and schedules are tight, certainly a deliver company can appreciate that. This is why they should have a means to accommodate a preset date and time to perform their service.

They call center in [redacted] has one representative by the name of Tanya and her excuse is that she's the only operator and supervisors are unavailable. The customer is completely at the mercy of AM Home Delivery and the date and time they choose, decided upon the night before.Desired Settlement: I need an agreed upon day and time, doesn't matter how far out (week, 2 weeks) to have my item delivered.

Review: Company was delivering a grill purchased [redacted]When driver pulled into the property he damaged phone cable wires and a pole. The driver signed off on the bill of landing and agreed to the damage that was done. I have called the company and spoke to [redacted], I emailed him copies of bill of landing and repair invoice. On May [redacted] he emailed me back confirming the receipt of the documents, promised to call me back next day and have the check out same day. That was the last time I ever heard from [redacted]. I have left numerous messages, send emails to claim department and all other email addresses that are available on company's web-site. I've been given the run around for 4 month now with little result. Today I have been given another name and number to call - that extension never answers and has no voice mail!Desired Settlement: I need to be reimbursed for the repairs of damaged property ASAP

Review: I received a delivery from this company and agreed to pay a set fee for installation and for them to remove an old appliance. After failing to send the correct installer on the first delivery attempt, they rescheduled the delivery. On the second attempt, the delivery people attempted to install the new appliance but failed to do so. They insisted that I still pay them for installation since the appliance was "broken" but not due to their attempts to install it. The manner in which they brought the new appliance in and removed the old appliance resulted in permanent damage to my kitchen floor that professional cleaning could not solve (long black scuff marks and scratches into the flooring). I am not seeking payment for the damage they caused or the time they wasted, but the fact is that they failed to install the unit and insisted that I pay them even though I had to pay another company to install the unit properly and had to pay for a service call since the installation is not covered by the warranty. During the service call the installer also revealed that there were several leaks in the gas line. Before leaving the delivery men did not turn off the gas, instead upon smelling gas I turned off the gas line several hours later. If I had not done so, this may have resulted in very dangerous outcomes including damage to the health of my family or even an explosion. This is extremely serious and dangerous. I have attempted to speak with someone several times. I filed a claim through the website, but the requirements do not match up with what I am requesting, which is a refund on the installation versus a refund for damage to my home or the range. It is impossible to speak with anyone through the claims line since it hangs up on you after giving you an email address (which I contacted)Desired Settlement: As they failed to install the appliance, my desired outcome is a refund for that portion of the bill ($125) and the extra charge I had to pay for the service call ($89) which I would not have had to pay if the unit had been installed correctly in the first place. I am more than happy to pay for the hauling away of the old appliance ($35), but had to pay another company to properly install the unit. I'm uncomfortable paying for a service that didn't happen and resulted in additional damage to the unit and my home.

Review: AM Trucking delivered a new GE Dishwasher to me November. This dishwasher had clearly been damaged before delivery to me which was verified by GE repairmen who had to come to my home to attempt to fix it 4x. Since the actual wood packing crate had been completely shattered during delivery when the delivery driver brought in the crate it scratched my hardwood flooring resulting in over $1,400 in damage which has been documented by a reputable hardwood flooring refinisher. I have sent all required documentation to support my claim including pictures as well as called and emailed customer service over 15 times. I can provide electronically copies of all email exchanges and dates of phone calls. The phone # and individuals in Customer Service who answer the calls appear to be working for Appliances Connection so there appears to be some association between the two companies. These Customer Service individuals either state they are unable to assist further and/or that I have to email Claims who then do not respond directly to my emails - only the same automated response. This appears to be the company(ies) modus operandi in that they do not address issues related to either appliances/furniture they sell that is damaged (in the case of my damaged dishwasher I had to go directly back to GE and get a new dishwasher delivered and installed by GE and not Appliances Connection since they would not address and ship a new dishwasher to replace the damaged one). I also see where there have been 45 complaints issued to the Revdex.com regarding this company with 23 being delivery issues which have cited the same issues I have encountered with getting this claim resolved. Overall the rating for this company is a D-. I have filed a complaint with the State of New York Office of the Attorney General regarding this same issue knowing that there is probably a similar documented history of this company's horrific business practices.Desired Settlement: Payment in the amount verified by Hardwood Flooring Company to sand and refinish damage to flooring as well as additional expenses associated with moving furniture and having to vacate home to allow for repair.

The FDOT suggested I outreach to Mr. Felberbaum as well as file a complaint with the US Department of Transportation FMCSA due to the 45 complaints that have been documented to the Revdex.com regarding AM Home Delivery and Trucking with 23 being delivery issues which have cited the same issues I have encountered with getting this claim resolved and with this company's overall rating being a D-.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: This company was chosen by an online retailer to deliver an appliance I had ordered. After a 2-week wait before receiving any delivery information, I was given incorrect tracking information (the link took me to a delivery from two years ago, to a customer in a different state). Attempts to call the delivery company (during a weekday) went right to voicemail, with no option to reach a live person. Several days later (on a Tuesday evening) I finally received a call from them. Rather than offering any choice of delivery days or times, I was given a 5-hour window for the very next day (Wednesday). Since I was unable to take time off from work, particularly with such short notice, I tried to arrange a different day, or a narrower time window. After a long discussion, the agent agreed to schedule my delivery for Thursday (the morning after the originally scheduled time), and told me it would be first thing in the morning, around 7 am. I agreed, and arranged to be home at that time. I waited for more than an hour, but there was no delivery and no attempt at contact, either by phone or by email. Eventually, I had to leave for work. I tried to call them later in the day, and could not reach them directly. I contacted the retailer through whom I had ordered the appliance, and they had AM Home Delivery call me. At this point, the agent with whom I spoke claimed that I was not on their schedule for Thursday, and that I could not have been on the schedule, since they only serve my area on Wednesdays. So either the original agent lied to me when he told me I was on the schedule for Thursday morning, or the second agent lied about me not being on the schedule.

I am now told that the earliest they can deliver is next Wednesday, and that they cannot offer me either a narrower time window, or further advanced notice; they only write the schedules the day before delivery.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is a TIMELY delivery of my order, preferably in a fashion that does not involve me having to take a day off from work. Compensation for my lost time (staying home for a delivery that did not occur) would also be appropriate.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. The business did work with me to arrange a satisfactory delivery time, and the item was delivered. However, the "free installation" did not occur, in that the delivery men were either incompetent, or pretending to be incompetent. Rather than purchase a new electrical cord, I intended to reuse the cord from my previous range. The delivery men who were supposed to install it did not bring a standard wrench needed to remove and transfer the cord. Instead, they tried to charge me $25 for a new cord. I refused, and proceeded to remove the existing cord by myself.
