Review: Rented a party bus for clients that were in town for Mardi Gras. Arrangements were made to have clients picked up at a restaurant and transported to the Super Dome for the Endymion Extravaganza.

Getting a receipt and confirmation of payment took over a month despite requesting one several times. Once it was received the information was completely wrong.

Paid for the party bus in full in order avoid having to collect payment at pick up and reimbursing our clients in from out of town after their trip.

BUS DRIVER DID NOT SHOW UP AT PICK UP TIME. BUS DRIVER DID NOT SHOW UP AN HOUR AFTER PICK UP TIME. Our clients had to arrange their own transportation to get to the dome by taxi. As we all know, getting a taxi at Mardi Gras is miserable which is why we rented the bus to begin with. After telling the company we would be disputing the charge, the bus driver told me via text message "I could have handled it differently." How could I have handled it differently? Continued waiting outside the restaurant for hours? How about SHOW UP at the time you were PAID to show up? This company totally avoided all responsibility. The C- minus rating on Revdex.com doesn't shock me at all.

We disputed the credit card charge. Believe it or not AM Bus rentals LIED and said they fulfilled their obligation. Will be bringing this issue before a judge if refund is not received within seven days.Desired Settlement: I expect 100% refund for the services that were paid for but not received. If payment is not received within seven days we will be filing a civil court lawsuit.

I was little apprehensive to book with AM after seeing the grade they received. I gave them a call and told them my concerns only to find out it was no longer owned by same person. I went ahead and booked it and my group had a blast! Definitely recommend

Review: I'm filing a formal complaint against AM Party Bus Rental. This message was sent to "Owner" Christian on July 14, 2015 at 4:29 pm. Hi Christian I was expecting and waiting patiently for an answer to what our compensation was going to be but I have not heard back from you. Here are my issues:- "party bus" was old and dirty upon your arrival. I took pictures. Ac did not work.- tire blew out in route to the location- we sat on the side of the road for over an hour waiting for another bus to arrive- next bus was extremely smaller and was older than the last bus. I have photos- next bus sound system was broken which caused us to have a "party bus" with no music- in route to the location the bus driver missed the exit to our location with caused us to wait another 35 mins for him to turn around and make the right turn.-once we got to the location after 10pm, I was forced to pay the caterer and dj extra money to stay so we could host our event because our event was scheduled to end at 10pm. - the caterers food was now cold because the chaffing dish fire went out but she didn't want to just leave our food there to go get more. Waste of $2k of food. -the police came and made us close the music down at 11pm because the noise ordinance says we had to stop music by 10pm. Waste of $1200 for dj.- not to mention the "sunset bonfire" was missed due to us getting there at the middle of the night. Needless to say our entire event was ruined because the lack of professionalism and planning on your company's part. I expect a full refund at least. Without a full refund I will seek civil court matters for a refund of the entire event including catering, actual bonfire, transportation and dj. That cost is well over $6k. Christian responded with excuses that his company is not responsible. I have obtained an attorney but I'm trying to avoid legal action. That is my next step if this does not receive a resolution.Desired Settlement: I expect a full refund at least. Without a full refund I will seek civil court matters for a refund of the entire event including catering, actual bonfire, transportation and dj. That cost is well over $6k. A full refund is $2,000.00.

Review: I did not receive the four hour bus rental services I paid for. We were picked up 35 minutes late and the driver seemed incapacitated and not fully lucid. She spent 45 minutes copying my credit card information which I have since imposed a fraud alert on. About 45 minutes after we got on the bus we were dropped off and that is the last we saw of the bus. With our coats on board, both the bus and the driver went missing for roughly 2.5 hours. The driver ignored our calls and all employees of the company are/were "out of town." When we finally contacted the bus company we were told they would just add the time on to the bus ride. We paid for the bus from 11pm-4am. We actually received bus services from 11:35-1:50am and the majority of that time was spent in a parking garage while our credit card was being "processed." When we finally were able to locate the bus at around 4:15am, we found a NOPD officer writing the bus driver a ticket for blocking traffic. We were finally able to retrieve our items from the bus but the night was no longer salvageable. On top of not receiving the services that we paid for we spent roughly $100 on cabs to get to the bus and then to get home. The story is far more complex and detailed than the word limit allows, but the owner has been made aware of the situation and has refused to comply with our reasonable requests for our money back.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the $672 paid for the services-- $202 which was charged on an American Express and the remainder which was paid in cash.
