Revdex.com:At this time, my complaint, ID *** regarding Oxford Cleaners has been resolved
(By clicking "OK", your complaint will be closed as Resolved.)
Sincerely,
*** ***

We would like to state for the record that we offered dry cleaning services as per the customer's instructions, which were to dry clean two dresses - one black dress and one white, both of which were delivered to the customer at the designated pidateOddly, the customer refused to take the
black dress, claiming that it didn't belong to herIn our years of business experience, we can confidently state that it is highly unlikely that parts of dry cleaning orders are mixed up (particularly for women's dresses), especially when the order is placed together under a single nameWhat is interesting is that BOTH dresses were from the SAME maker and BOTH were of the SAME size, which is an unlikely coincidenceWe don't know what the reason is for the client not accepting her own dress, but we strongly disagree with what the client is asking forWe currently still have the dress in our possession and have performed d ry cleaning service as the customer instructed, and the customer may piher dress at any timeWe understand that mix ups are possible, but this is highly improbable given the facts that we have presented for this particular case.In response to the complaint about how the customer was treated, please note that the customer was being unreasonable and was simply being disruptive in our place of business, where we, on a daily basis, try to serve our regular customers, who are pleased with our servicesIt is incredible how one can levy a complaint of this magnitude to a small business trying to serve its community

customer's instructions, which were to dry clean two dresses - one black dress and one white, both of which were delivered to the customer at the designated pick-up date. Oddly, the customer refused to take the black dress, claiming that it didn't belong to her. In our 25 years of business experience, we can confidently state that it is highly unlikely that parts of dry cleaning orders are mixed up (particularly for women's dresses), especially when the order is placed together under a single name. What is interesting is that BOTH dresses were from the SAME maker and BOTH were of the SAME size, which is an unlikely coincidence. We don't know what the reason is for the client not accepting her own dress, but we strongly disagree with what the client is asking for. We currently still have the dress in our possession and have performed d ry cleaning service as the customer instructed, and the customer may pick-up her dress at any time. We understand that mix ups are possible, but this is highly improbable given the facts that we have presented for this particular case.In response to the complaint about how the customer was treated, please note that the customer was being unreasonable and was simply being disruptive in our place of business, where we, on a daily basis, try to serve our regular customers, who are pleased with our services. This is my 2nd response to this complaint. Let me begin by saying that I was truthful in my initial response, so there is very little I can add; however, I will respond to the complaintant's photo, which I have not seen. A photo of the complaintant wearing a black dress simply does not prove that same dress was brought into our dry cleaning business to be cleaned. It simply means that she owned a black dress. What IS factual is that we still have a black dress that has yet to be claimed. Further, we have NOT received any other complaints about not being returned the same dress a customer had brought in to be cleaned, which suggests a low likelihood of an error or an accidental swap. The complaintant is free to pick up the black dress.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I do not agree with the owner’s account of what happened. The fact of the matter is I brought in a black size 8 [redacted] dress to be cleaned, and I was returned a black size 2 [redacted] dress. I have nothing to gain by lying about the fact that I was returned the wrong dress. I am telling the truth. I have also attached a photo of myself wearing the missing dress to support my claim. Further, the owner is defaming my character in their statement: “[redacted]” It is unclear as to what “disruptive” behavior I displayed as I was the only customer in the store at the time of the incident. I was simply arguing the truth and standing up for my rights as a customer by disputing the incorrect dress given to me and refusing to accept a dress I neither brought in to be cleaned nor did I own.
