June 22,2017Complaint# [redacted] Attn: [redacted] Revdex.com Resolutions ConsultantWe are sorry that Mrand Mrs [redacted] are not satisfied with our serviceWe strive to make every customer happy but we are not perfect and mistakes happenIn this case we installed a new modular heater for them supplied by their home warranty company on January 25, At that time we purchased a Mechanical Permit(Please see copy attached) We also purchased the electrical permit for this job (the electrical contractor has that permit) the insurance only allows $for permitsThis covers the Electrical portion onlyWe are charging the [redacted] for the Mechanical Permit which their insurance company does not allow enough funds to cover this costOn January 27th the modular heater was rewired so they were not on emergency heat, which was costing them a lot of extra money, we did not charge them any additional money for this serviceOn February 6th The [redacted] called and said the unit was making a very loud noise and vibrating the wall, our technician went out and found the fan was off balance he slowed the fan down until a new blower wheel could be installedThe unit was defective from the factoryOn February 10th we had an appointment for [redacted] to check the install and replace the furnace door that had been lost by our installerThis appointment was canceledAnother appointment was made for the 13th again this appointment was canceledOne February 17th the owner of AM/PM Heating and Cooling went out and checked the furnace door to order a new one for themOn March the 24th the furnace door was delivered and we found the order was not complete; one of the three parts was missingWhen we called to explain the [redacted] would not allow us to come back to finish the installation. If we are not allowed to return to finish the job how in the world can we? We are charging for the duct modification to the supply plenum in the amount of $(not covered by their Home Warranty) and the Mechanical Permit in the amount of $giving a total of $(Note we didn’t charge sales tax on this either) By law Duct pressure testing has to be doneWe haired a subcontractor to do this, but the [redacted] would not return his calls to set the appointment so we reversed that charge.I would also like to add that although we are a service company that does not mean we need to take abuse on the phone by our customersWe realize customers can get upset but we try to treat each person with respect and in a courteous mannerMrand Mrs [redacted] have been extremely rude and vindictiveMrs [redacted] has seen it fit to write charges on Yelp and Google and now with the Revdex.comMy husband and I have worked hard for years to build a reputable and honest companyWe have not caused any harm to the [redacted] and have tried to complete the install properly and in a timely mannerThey have been uncooperative, rude, insulting and as I said vindictive.I hope this answers this charge satisfactorilyBecause they are making allowcations we will turn them in to collections and no reduction of charge will be made

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I will not address the blatant misrepresentations from Ms [redacted] contained in her letter regarding accusations about fault for the mishandling of this project, the communication and cancellation and missed appointments - other than to say that I we adamantly disagree with the assertions set forward in her response We never cancelled any appointments that were scheduled We were never not present at our house when AM/PM was scheduled to come to work Frankly, most of it is irrelevant to the issues regarding their fraudulent invoice Our refusal to allow the company back on the property was a result of more than days of trying to deal with a company who repeatedly failed to show up for appointments and misrepresented the true nature of the issues with the system that needed to be fixed and resolved The air flow test never occurred because they never completed the work, which I told the airflow test company and Desiree several times Both repeatedly told me not to have them do it until the installation was complete Actually, for the record, I understand that the airflow test is actually required prior to the installation So let's make a few things crystal NO one was ever at our house from [redacted] I had never heard of them until I contacted the State of Washington Labor and Industry regarding the electrical permit It is true that they pulled the class B permit - which was actually in a book of that was issued in September - we were permit #in that book Not only have I never heard from them, they had never heard of us, or the project at our house That's what they told the Labor and Industry They are actually being investigated by Labor and Industry as well Further, to continue on regarding the electrical work - I did speak with [redacted] at [redacted] who overseas all contractors - including AM/PM in this area He informed me that [redacted] does not allow subcontractors period Moreover, [redacted] did no electrical work at our house - AM/PM did the hook up themselves - which was also illegal Which [redacted] is now aware of - because apparently AM/PM has not been honest with them either about this matter So how there can be a "subcontractor fee" when there was no subcontractor is beyond me The entire job has to be redone completely because of the horrible job that was done in the first place The entire system is falling out So if AM/PM wants to go down a path about who owes money, I think they will find that they owe us money I can go on about all the things that are wrong with the system - including that it is not the proper size for our house or the coil, it is installed upside down, the fan is hanging from the system which is causing considerable damage, the electrical was done completely wrong, and likely cost us additional money all winter because they failed to properly hook up the heat tape The list goes on and on and on As far as some "standard" charge for permits - they agree that the permit fee was $- not $ They never disclosed that they were charging a "flat rate" for anything - nor did they ever properly provide a disclosure statement They got their money more than twice over already for the permit because they never paid an electrical company - as no electrical company was ever at our house Her numbers are baseless given what actually has occurred. It is very telling that her initial response was that we were going to collections no matter what - now the response is she will consider cancelling the fees if I take down my reviews of their company The charges are bogus, the invoice is fraudulent, and I will continue to stand up for what is right We not only do not owe this money, but people like this should not be allowed to prey on innocent unsuspecting customers Nothing I have said is untrue It is not only true but it is documented and accurate AM/PM Heating and Cooling can back up nothing that they have statedThey can provide no documents, no evidence, nothing - because they have nothing They are the ones ruining their livelihood and situation by lying and misrepresenting the facts and circumstances here The fact that I am an attorney has no bearing on this situation

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I will not address the blatant misrepresentations from Ms. [redacted] contained in her letter regarding accusations about fault for the mishandling of this project, the communication and cancellation and missed appointments - other than to say that I we adamantly disagree with the assertions set forward in her response.  We never cancelled any appointments that were scheduled.  We were never not present at our house when AM/PM was scheduled to come to work.  Frankly, most of it is irrelevant to the issues regarding their fraudulent invoice.  Our refusal to allow the company back on the property was a result of more than 60 days of trying to deal with a company who repeatedly failed to show up for appointments and misrepresented the true nature of the issues with the system that needed to be fixed and resolved.  The air flow test never occurred because they never completed the work, which I told the airflow test company and Desiree several times.  Both repeatedly told me not to have them do it until the installation was complete.  Actually, for the record, I understand that the airflow test is actually required prior to the installation.  So let's make a few things crystal clear:1.  NO one was ever at our house from [redacted]  I had never heard of them until I contacted the State of Washington Labor and Industry regarding the electrical permit.  It is true that they pulled the class B permit - which was actually in a book of 20 that was issued in September 2016 - we were permit #17 in that book.  Not only have I never heard from them, they had never heard of us, or the project at our house.  That's what they told the Labor and Industry.  They are actually being investigated by Labor and Industry as well.  Further, to continue on regarding the electrical work - I did speak with [redacted] at [redacted] who overseas all contractors - including AM/PM in this area.  He informed me that [redacted] does not allow subcontractors period.  Moreover, [redacted] did no electrical work at our house - AM/PM did the hook up themselves - which was also illegal.  Which [redacted] is now aware of - because apparently AM/PM has not been honest with them either about this matter.  So how there can be a "subcontractor fee" when there was no subcontractor is beyond me.  2.  The entire job has to be redone completely because of the horrible job that was done in the first place.  The entire system is falling out.  So if AM/PM wants to go down a path about who owes money, I think they will find that they owe us money.  I can go on about all the things that are wrong with the system - including that it is not the proper size for our house or the coil, it is installed upside down, the fan is hanging from the system which is causing considerable damage, the electrical was done completely wrong, and likely cost us additional money all winter because they failed to properly hook up the heat tape.  The list goes on and on and on.  3.  As far as some "standard" charge for permits - they agree that the permit fee was $128.00 - not $160.  They never disclosed that they were charging a "flat rate" for anything - nor did they ever properly provide a disclosure statement.  They got their money more than twice over already for the permit because they never paid an electrical company - as no electrical company was ever at our house.  Her numbers are baseless given what actually has occurred. It is very telling that her initial response was that we were going to collections no matter what - now the response is she will consider cancelling the fees if I take down my reviews of their company.  The charges are bogus, the invoice is fraudulent, and I will continue to stand up for what is right.  We not only do not owe this money, but people like this should not be allowed to prey on innocent unsuspecting customers.   Nothing I have said is untrue.  It is not only true but it is documented and accurate.  AM/PM Heating and Cooling can back up nothing that they have stated. They can provide no documents, no evidence, nothing - because they have nothing.  They are the ones ruining their livelihood and situation by lying and misrepresenting the facts and circumstances here.  The fact that I am an attorney has no bearing on this situation.
