AM2PM Carpet Cleaning and Restoration, LLC Reviews (39)

We are very sorry that the customer feels she was over charged. The price is 4.95 per a room and any soiled areas will require pretreat at .20 sqft. When the tech arrived at the customers house, he did a spot test and showed the customer the difference that the pre treat can make on the carpet. The...

tech then wrote up an invoice and showed the customer the total and had him sign it BEFORE any work was done. We as a company never do any work with out a customers authorization and signature. The customer was happy with how the demo spot turned out and agreed to pretreat the areas that needed it. When the tech was done with the cleaning, he had the customer look over the work that was done and have the customer sign off that the work was done to a level of satisfaction. The customer also signed off that the work was completed to his level of satisfaction. The tech did expect payment at the end of service, any company would, especially since the customer was happy with the work completed. If the customer is not happy with how the carpets turned out, we have no problem setting up a day and time and having a tech come back out and redo the area they are not happy with. At this time, we are unable to issue a refund, do to the work being completed with customer authorization.

It was only 3 rooms in a apartment. There is not 4 rooms- It was over priced and gouged which was wrong by the technician. There are still stains on the carpet and this is not what I was quoted to pay $4.95/ room

Regards,

I scheduled to have AM2PM Carpet Cleaning to come out and clean my carpets. I clean my carpets about every 4 months or less. The technician, [redacted] came out and GUARANTEED that he could get the old urine stains out of the carpet, and all the stains for that matter. He initially wanted to charge me nearly $500, which I said no to, and then he said that he can get the carpets just as clean using the wand as opposed to another want that needed to be run while on your hands and knees. He said that it is really the same. It looked nice when he was done, but the next day the house had an overwhelming urine scent. I called them and they said that they guarantee their work, and they would send a technician out. I called them and said no, but then they showed up anyway. It was [redacted] and another guy named [redacted]. I had them come in and look at the carpets, and [redacted] had the audacity to tell me that those stains would probably not come out because it had soaked through to the pad! Which is exactly what I told him while he was here. But he convinced me that "this is new technology" that they were using, "no other carpet cleaning companies had. So they hook you with this $4.95 ad for cleaning each room, which for me would have been $20, but then hook you with all of their guarantees, and the next day, it's back to the same. I tried talking to them, the manager would not return any of my calls and was supposedly "not in the office when I called. I am going to every website possible to file a complaint. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Am2pm has a 100% workmanship guarantee, if the customer is not happy with the quality of the work we would love to come back out to make it right for them! When would be a convenient time for us to come back out and redo the area that they are unhappy with?

We avoid giving exact prices over the phone due to every customers situation is different.  On the invoice it appears that it was 2 bedrooms and a living room and dining room, a combo living room/dining room is considered two rooms, technically a hall way is also considered a room which was not charged for. The customer also chose to receive sanitizer for the carpet. Our ad and phone conversations do state that it is not just 4.95 a room, it states that it is 4.95 a room and any soiled areas will require pretreat at .20 a sqft. The tech also did a spot test before any work was done to show the difference in the cleaning that pretreat can achieve. The customers was happy with those results when shown! Due to the work being approved and done already I can not give a refund, but we would love to offer a 25% discount on any future service.

Thank you

Am2pm

I hired AM2PM to clean the carpets and a wool rug in my home and asked for their works package (includes deep clean and scotchguard stain protector). The technician showed up on time, was professional and did a great job. The carpets look great! I will be using them every year.

Was mislead by technician regarding service requirement. Ad states "ANY soiled area will require pre-conditioning" Technician stated ALL areas REQUIRE pre-conditioning thus increasing cost by 160%.

When I called to complain and ask for clarification or adjustment I was told that nothing could be done.

We are sorry if the customer feels that they did not get the agreed upon price. When she scheduled her carpet cleaning she said she was only looking to get 2 rooms cleaned for the 65.00. When the tech arrived at the property and the male that was there added on 2 more rooms of carpet and was also...

interested in getting the carpets sanitized. Since more was added on than just the 2 rooms the price obviously would go up. We can not offer money back, but we would love to offer 25% off any future service. I have attached a copy of the invoice that shows everything that was done.

Thanks

We are very sorry that Heidi did not have a great review to leave. I would like to address a coupledom things here, when carpet is steamed cleaned it will be wet when we are done, this was not a dry clean that does not leave moisture in the carpet. The furniture and carpet did remain wet longer due...

to the fact at there was cat urine present and which required a deeper clean. When a call was made to theto theodicy with a complaint, assistance was offered to the customer, we offered to come back out and redo where she was unhappy with. The price that was offered in he beginning included different options such a scotch grad, sanitizer etc. it is up to the customer which services they would like, we work with all our customers and their needs.

Is is there a problem with the quality of the service? We would love the opportunity to come back out and redo the areas that were cleaned at you are not happy with.

thanks

AM2PM has a 100% workmanship guarantee, but that is not a money back guarantee. As a business if a customer is unhappy we do have the right to do what it takes to make it right, and we will honor that in every situation. We have not been given the proper chance to make this right. We can not give money back, but we would be more than happy to offer a 25% discount on any future service.

Thanks

I called to set up an apt. with AM@PM when receiving a business flyer in the mail. In the ad it stated that air duct cleaning was $6.95 each per duct with $14.for the return vent. When the technician arrived and set up his brush and hoses I asked for a bill to be written up. The completed bill was for $533.87 for additional services that I had not asked for. I declined his services he was most insistent about doing some work before he would leave. He said he would do the return vent for $60 and I agreed because I felt intimidated by his demeanor. He took exactly 6 mins. to complete the cleaning with running the brush up and down a couple of time and than leaving. I called the company number on the flyer because no number was available on the bill. I expressed my dissatisfaction on the work done and the bill presented to me which should have been around $100 and no where close to the $533.87. [redacted] the manager said he felt the work was done satisfactorily but would be willing to do the job again for $188. I declined his offer and said the only the thing that would make it right would be to return my money for a 6 min. job not done completely. He also declined to return my money and told me to call him if I changed my mind.

Poor customer service and definitely bait and switch business tactics. I would never recommend this company to anyone looking for dependable service cleaning industry.

I feel I was lied to by office staff when questioned about pricing. I called to schedule an appointment and asked the girl on the phone a lot of questions about pricing and how the cleaning worked. I asked about charges per square foot since I have large rooms and she told me that there were none unless I wanted special treatments or services like deodorant or scotch guard, things like that. She told me it was $5 per room, combined rooms counted as 2 and $15 for the driver. When the tech got to my home and set up he asked for over $150 for a basic clean and over $200 for a clean plus scrub. I was blown away. I told him that was not what I was told and he explained that it is $5 per room plus a required .20 per square foot. That is not what I was told! He told me $5 would get me hot water and that would make my carpets look worse. I contacted the company via e-mail on their website asking a manager to contact me about what had happened, gave them a week, and still no response.

I recently purchased some furniture off of craigslist and wanted them cleaned before I moved them into my home. I did some research and decided on AM2PM. They were very professional and actually exceeded my expectations as the furniture looks great and they even did a deodorizer and a stain protector cheaper then most the quotes I had for just a basic clean. They even gave me a discount on my next service. I highly recommend AM2PM!

We have taken fault if the customer feels that we scratched her baseboards, but it is impossible that our hoses could have taken chunks out of her wood work. We have offered on multiple occasions to come out and paint the scratches and she has refused that offer.nwe did ask them if they had any...

paint, we needed to know what color we had to get so it would match. We are still offering to come out and paint the scratched surfaces.

I have reviewed the response however they have accused my dogs of chewing the base boards. The base boards don't have chunks missing it is in one area where the wood has missing part and is scratched. I do not want them back in my

house to paint over damaged wood. I want my money back and I will replace the edge myself.

Regards,

I understand that this was not a dry cleaning service provided. I ended up sucking up the wet carpet myself with my steam cleaner. I did not want to wait for another person to come out to suck the wet mess up. I did my own carpet cleaning 2 days later. The water was dark brown and cleaner than the service you provided. Yes there was cat urine on the chase lounges but not the carpet.  The chase lounges took serval days to dry and we couldn't sit on the carpet for 2 days either. If you guys spent a little bit more time to actually suck up the wet mess everything would be fine. I guess I should have taken a video to prove to you what horrible job you guys are providing to your customers, But I guess it's too late for that. I want a full refund for the horrible service that was provided to me.  I did a better job cleaning than what was provided for $178.00 and I took the time to clean it. Thank you for your time

The issue here is NOT if the work was done to our satisfaction or not as the business claims, the question is why we were charged the extra .20 cents per square foot for almost the entire area they cleaned when I was told that would not be charged originally.  When the tech came to the house he told my husband the fee was "recommended and included", so obviously my husband said go ahead.  He had no idea what was going on because I'm the one who set up the appointment. Also, I read at least a dozen reviews online about how this company has mislead/lied/charged them with the same exact tactic.  When people make a call they're told the .20 cents is charged only if there are soiled areas, then they do the work and at the end charge extra.  There are so many complaints about dishonesty/lies and extra charges on this company that I'm shocked they're still in business.  This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.  As my husband explained to the tech at the end when he wanted payment, we didn't have any soiled areas at all, only reason we had it cleaned is because we were moving and when he questioned the tech, he was told the work is already done, too late and he had to pay.   We want the $100 refund!!!

Regards,[redacted]

On December 9th AM2PM arrived as scheduled. We had been told by the company dispatcher/manager that there charge for this service was $49.95 plus a $15 travel fee. The technician had little to say and immediately went about cleaning our dryer vent as requested. When he completed cleaning the dryer vent we asked about cleaning the tile and grout in our master bathroom shower. He said that he could do that and quoted us a charge of $75. All of the work was completed as expected. When he finished his work he presented us a bill for $313.98 instead of the $139 that we had been quoted. He had charged us an additional $39.95 for sealer for the dryer vent. There was also another charge of 49.95 for sanitizer. In addition to the $75 quote for the shower he added $59.95 for sanitizer.

I called [redacted] at the AM2PM office on Wednesday, December 11th and he told me that he would have the boss call me to discuss these unknown charges. I heard from no one so I called [redacted] again on Friday, December 13th. [redacted] told me the boss only came in to the office on Saturdays and he would have him call me the next day. Saturday came and went without hearing from anyone.

I would not recommend that anyone trust AM2PM. The technician should present the contract and prices before beginning the work. AM2PM doe not do this and they add costs to the job without any notification, agreement or discussion. Beware.
