I purchased a car from ama cars over 2 months ago. To date I haven't gotten any permanent tags and the finance company haven't received the title. I am now paying for a car I cannot drive and Mitch the owner, is no longer responding to my calls or text messages. I'm really at my wits end as I need my car for work and errands with my daughter. I feel very taken advantage of as I just came out of bankruptcy and don't have many options at the moment for a vehicle.

I purchased a vehicle on November 9, 2018 from AMA car's. It was late in the evening around 8:00 p.m. and after I signed my contract I was informed that the car needed to be inspected and that wouldn't be able to happen that night. I was asked to come back that Monday to pick up the vehicle. I drove my vehicle back home and kept my car and the new car under my insurance. The vehicle was not ready on Monday. Days turned into weeks and the car still was not ready. I requested the offer to be rescinded on December 6 after being told that the car initially needed it and exhaust sensor which turned into a Turbo for the engine. I have had face-to-face interactions and have atempted several phone calls to no Avail to resolve this. The entire time Mitch the owner agreed to fix everything I complained about. REPEATEDLY telling me "it's being worked on." I requested the maintenance report and requested to talk to the shop where the car was and that request was denied. I expressed my satisfaction and complained about the horrible customer service. (he was not returning my phone calls) (telling me a different date everytime I asked when the car would be ready) He stated " Im taking the car to a *** dealer because the other shop was taking too long" After expressing my dissatisfaction in person Mitch agree to pay my 1st car payment which he did not do. After I requested a reversal of the deal, he agreed to refund me my down payment. He would not cash the additional checks I left for tags and title as well. Gm financial never received a call from AMA cars. My insurance company never received a call and charged me for a car I did not have. It is now showing up as a negative on my credit. Horrible and illegal business happening here. I have attempted to go to the shop again and it ha as been closed.

I financed a vehicle from AMA cars about a month and a half ago .
There were a few issues that were addressed and I was given an IOU receipt to fix the weather moulding and the side view mirror . Three days later I take it to AMAs mechanic to get the truck inspected . I tell them that it has an issue with what I think is the transmission ,turn signals and break lights that do not work .. They pass ny truck for inspection. They tell me I am good to go and the truck is outside running . When I get home I see that the lights were never fixed yet my truck was passed for inspection . And the truck is still having an issue were it bogs or stalls when I go to give it gas sometimes . I call and talk to one of the workers less than a week after purchasing
the vehicle and tell them that I have an issue with the truck . They tell me they will let Mitch who is one of the owners and runs the place. He never calls me back . About 10 days into haviinf the truck the transmission goes and almost cause me to have a nasty accident . I take it to the nearest shop (***) . They validate that the transmission.needs to be replaced . I speak to Mitch directly and told him the issue .He tells me that he with fix the transmission and pay my first months car payment . Mitch speaks to *** and tells them a date of that Friday he will drop a transmission of that will be used to rebuild my transmission. That day passes and he didn’t pay or drop a transmission off. The following week Kristine who is Mitch’s wife and part owner speaks with my fiancée Ashley Schaeffer and she gives her another day when it the trans will be delivered . That day comes s and goes . The third week Ashley and myself call him on his cell . This time I tell him that I am gonna have to call the Revdex.com and contact a lawyer . He tells me that he is gonna take care of it that Friday and that he will pay my first months car payment . The truck is still sitting at the auto body shop by my house and nothing has been paid .

The ***'s vehicle (a 2006 ***) is currently in for repair at ***. A new transmission has been sent from *** and paid for by us to be installed into the ***s vehicle. In addition to the transmission and per the recommendation of *** we are also replacing the radiator and the transcooler.Once these repairs are completed and the ***'s have their vehicle returned to them I will look into taking care of the additional items that were promisedRE: weather moulding & the side view mirror.If there are any additional questions or concerns, I can be reached at .Regards,Christine Graber

The check for the repair has been overnighted to *** and the ***s can pick up their vehicle today. I spoke to *** yesterday and he is aware of this arrangement.

I bought a car from this dealership from a person named mitch...I am a single disabled female who doesn't know much about vehicles...I paid over 10,000 dollars for this car so I would have a reliable vehicle to get me to doctor appointments...check engine light went on...took to my local mechanic because I am so far away from dealership...he said in his own words...who the neck sold you this car...it has 4 bald tires...they are cracked...have bubbles in them and he advised me not to drive on them...I called Mitch at the dealership who assured me he would take care of it...after he told me this the time came to get my tires and he was suddenly no longer around...on the phone...out of the office...he now will not pay for them ...I am on a fixed income and do not know what to do...I can't get to doctor appointments unless I have a ride pay g for a car I cannot drive...this guy is a sheister...I didnt know they had reviews or I would have steered clear of them because most of them are bad...I need help...

Hi ***,We reimbursed *** $180.00 for 2 tires back on May 17th. Check# ***Four new tires were never promised to her. She signed a "WE OWE" document at the time of delivery and the "WE OWE" document said nothing was owed.

This was signed off on by her. As a courtesy we did reimburse her $180.00 for 2 tires that were damaged by her hitting pot holes.
