This issue involves service and refund. I bought a gift for my partner to get a massage at Ama Spa. My partner left after being there for a couple of minutes because *** made them feel unsafe. *** the owner and therapist went on a political rant regarding ***, saying she had a gun on her and that people part of *** were terrorists and trained marksmanship, and she would do what was necessary. I am a person of color and my and my partner and I are supporters and allies of the ***. They were so uncomfortable that they left within a few minutes. *** didn't even fulfill the service but still charged me and has refused to refund me, stating she can do whatever she wants. I haven't gotten any response from her regarding my email for a full refund. She was extremely unprofessional and unethical. She created an unsafe place and refused to to give me back my money.

Refund I would like my money back in the full amouth of $85.00.
The client was 15 minutes late. Her claims of my actions are false. She has publicly slandered amd defamation of myself personally as well as my business. This is a direct attack from her and her partner for what reason, I am unsure of other the the *** group. I also have documentation of her statements as well as her partner- girlfriend, ***, stating that I left *** on the table waiting for 20 minutes and another statement from her stating that *** left within 7 minutes. We have documented the entry time of *** as the Check in time, and Check in service time as well as the order closed time. Which it a total of 17 minutes. That 17 minutes included the introduction, massage intake time, the client to disrobe and get on the table as well as the beginning of the massage. I feel that I have been targeted by this group for my race and religion as a Christian.
However, the owner may perceive the events that occurred, the purpose of this process and the goal is to recognize that the service was not rendered and more than half of the time expected for the service was not fulfilled, therefore I would like a full refund.
The owner's response does not resolve the issue. The issue is regarding a refund for a service not rendered. The owner states that my partner was there for 17mins. Within those 17mins, there was an introduction, massage intake time (forms to fill out), the client to disrobe and get on the table as well as the beginning of the massage. Assuming the introduction, massage intake and disrobe took at minimum 5 minutes each, the massage itself was less than 5 minutes. It was within this time that the problem arose. The product purchased was a 60min massage for 85 dollars. The contract between us was to create a peaceful and safe environment, I would get 60mins of massage time, and she would get $85. When speech about guns and hurting others came into play, that contract was broken.
In regard to being late which holds no weight. The time scheduled for the appointment was 3pm. My partner and I were contacted, because the owner was running late and could only be there at 3:30. The agreed upon time was 3:30. There was a second call, but my partner did not answer it. The call requested she be there at 3:15, however there was no confirmation by my partner, as the initial call to be there at 3:30 was agreed upon.
ARRIVED at 345pm.. 15 minutes PAST 330pm. As it was explained to her via the call and when I was doing the intake with her...beach traffic was running the previous clients late. I assured her I would allow her the full hour and understood that during this time of year, the traffic was backed up due to people coming to the beach. You have lied about all the rest. You and *** called and threatened me twice. I have done my research on *** and I see that she also is working for an organization that is against police. So please stop harassing me and my business with your lies. Our policy states that if you are late, you will be charged for the time.
