9/20/Re: [redacted] ***: As the consumer points out, the office has gone through a major change and re-organization of billing services since the discovery of the improper documentation in the billing department at the office in the pastUpon investigation of this matter, it is apparent that there are still areas that need to be worked on as the amount is more after reviewing and cross referencing EOBS and what is in the system When reviewing EOBS, other consumer’s names are on them and due to HIPPA standards I cannot release themSince further investigation has occurred to review this consumer’s account, this has prompted further reviews in the office and to further improve the billing department proceduresAt this time, the office will waive this debt collection as it is owed but it will be forgiven at this timeAs stated in previous letter, the account was not sent to collections and will not be sent to collectionsSincerely, Gloria V [redacted]
