Review: I am the admin clerk for The Love & Liberty Fellowship Church in Houston TX , in which we have FEDEX Account. Amalgamated Financial Group has constantly called, emailed, etc as a collection agency to collect a past due bill from Fedex. Well my suspicions arouse when the agency made calls to our Pastor's private line. When I contacted Fedex concerning the past bill they informed me that the account had not been sent to any collection agency. Nor did Amalgamated Financial Group represent Fedex by any means. I've asked the Amalgmated Representative [redacted] to refrain from calling the Pastor phone but she's very continues to do so. Now I wonder what would have happened if I sent the check to the company per their request?
I wanted to make you guys aware of what was going on and also please stop them from contacting our private lines, especially pastors.
Thank You & Have a great day!
[redacted]Desired Settlement: Please follow up with me concerning this matter. I can be reached at: [redacted]
Business
Response:
In response to Ms. [redacted]'s response, I will reiterate...we have done business with Federal Express for over 25 years. We have handled their past due receivables for over 25 years. Feel free to contact [redacted] who is with Revenue Recovery at ###-###-####. She is one of our many contacts at Federal Express and would verify the account in question was in fact placed with us.
Consumer
Response:
I am rejecting this response because:
This was deceptive and fraudulent behavior and someone must take responsibility. For one the account you claiming was "past due" was actually under an investigation as I mentioned to you when you called initially. We were trying trace a package and was told by Fedex that we could not use our account billing until further notice. Long story short the matter was resolved with Fedex and our account was never technically "past due" according to the Fedex representative who suggested I report you guys to the Revdex.com. So if Ms. [redacted] gave you our churches information to get a "past due" bill she was just as wrong. Thank you so much for her name as well. I will let the regional manager know also(he is following this Revdex.com claim). I pray you're making a true statement.
Godly Regards,
