I'm sorry to hear about the problems Mr*** is having with his Injection PumpIn the complaint it was mentioned that
the pump was running fine and only leaking fuelSo he brought the pump to us to repair a leakInvoice # XXXXX dated 6/30/lists seal kits that were used to seal the injection pumpThe end result was the pump no longer leakedWe never rebuilt the pump or changed parts out from the pump to be rebuilt (so no warranty) because it was not brought to us for that reasonWe only repaired a leak
Mr*** brought the pump back in a second timeOur certified fuel injection tech went over the pump and confirmed the pump still was not leakingNow customer complaint states it does not runMr*** was informed that being the age of the tractor/pump that our equipment injection pump stand wouldn't be able to run this type of pump and that it was only brought to us for a leak not a rebuildMy dedicated sales team suggested to him another fuel injection shop who might be able to help himWe never charged Mr*** a second time for looking over the pump and diagnosing it

I was told by *** at Dave's diesel that they put it on a pump stand and it all ran and tested fine and that it tested within specs the first two times I had it at their shop and the last time I was told the same story by *** from their business with the exception that the first time they worked on the pump they had the wrong specs so it was set wrong for that reason, after each time they kept the pump for several months and avoided my phone calls inquiring about the pumps progressAfter the first time they had the pump they pulled the pump apart further than was needed to change the seal that was leaking and had the front housing reinstalled crooked and misaligned which is what I am certain caused damage to the pump it did not have when they got itAlso other pump shops I have since talked to have all told me only one diesel shop in the country has the tools and proper information and ability to work on this pump so I must assume Dave's diesel did not ever have the ability to work on this pump without the proper tools to start with and they continued to mislead me that the pump was fine and tested good after they had full knowledge they caused damage to it by not being able to work on it without the proper tools after they took it apart and got into a job they could not properly completeThe other pump shops told me right away they would need to send it to the one and only shop in the United States that had the tools to work on this particular pumpI was never told this by Dave's dieselYes the pump did not leak but it also did not run and had more wrong with it after Dave's diesel worked on it than when I took it to them and it cost me over an additional $and a year of time being told nothing was wrong with the pump when they was well aware they was not able to work on this pump after they took it apart
