A.M.A.R.A.S.

On September 24, 2012 we contacted A.M.A.R.A.S. to repair a loose hanging mechanism for an internal glass door (they responded to a HomeAdvisor/servicemagic.com request). They accepted our service request and sent out two employees who looked at the door and then attempted a repair on the door; removing bolts from the framing mechanism, etc. and while manipulating the door, the repairman (Joe Terborg) dropped the door, causing it to shatter completely.We requested that they replace the door, either buying a new one or at least submitting the request to their insurance provider. Although they suggested a vendor who could replace the door, it was left up to us to get quotes. When the quotes were completed, they refused - through both email and phone conversation - to pay for the replacement of the door.
