Amaris Photography

I was excited to use Amaris for my wedding, but then the excuses started coming in. Month after month we heard that we would see them soon. In short it took over half a year to even see anything back. Needless to say we aren't very happy and would not recommend.

Although I am pleased with the photos she took for me, her customer service added stress throughout my event process. Most every call, promise or deadline was missed on her part when it came to scheduling times to talk, photo and album links, photo sessions, freebies she offered for me paying ahead on my part, and receiving products within promised times. Often when I reached out, I was met with a response by an automated e-mail or her "admins" on her cell phone. When addressing these issues, she artfully deflected many of the errors in her process upon health issues, my own family members, myself or crafted the conversation toward a direction she wanted it to go. I paid ahead of time in full for my photographs. Over a year after I paid in full ahead of time for her business, I still did not have all of the products or answers I paid for. While I wish her the best personally, I would not recommend her services due to her customer relations and seemingly inability to organize this part of her business. Her services are fairly expensive and I lost trust very early on about where I put my money.

On March 22nd I participated in a headshot event with this company. All participants were informed shortly thereafter that we would be provided a link with our photos on or before April 11th. Around that time the company posted on Facebook that the owner was having health issues, although I never received an update regarding the delay. On April 25th I emailed the company asking for an update on when I could expect to receive my photos. I received no response. Again on May 4th I reached out to the company, this time through the website, where they state they strive to respond to contact requests within 24 hours. It is now May 10th, approximately one month after I expected my photos and I have neither them nor any idea on when I can expect them.Desired SettlementI want my photos delivered ASAP.
