Review: On 12/21/11 I purchased an MFJ tuner 994 B and I just discovered I was sent an MFJ 991 with a price discrepancy of $180.I contacted [redacted] who I was told was in charge. He looked the matter over and checked his inventory stating he could not find any basis ffor discussion. He questioned me that I indeed had not received the

unit and possibly was substituting another. He then said I should go the manufacturer who I did not purchase it from.I dealt with him in candor and good faith.I realize this is a long time period;however,what is right is right.Desired Settlement: I am willing to exchange and purchase a new unit from him with an allowance for the difference between the two items.I have been doing business with them since 1986 and always found them to be honest and fair.This treatment of a warehouse mishap is not in keeping with my past experience.

The customer contacted us and said he had received the wrong item. When I looked up his order I discovered we shipped his order in September of 2011. The customer informed me that he had been sick. I understand things like this happen so I started the process of trying to figure out if we had actually shipped the wrong item.

I asked him if the packaging matched the item. He informed me that he had thrown out the box. Being sympathetic to his situation I tried to find another way to prove that we had actually sent him the incorrect item. I had the general manager access the files to the Orlando store's 2011 year end inventory. If we had made a mistake the counts on the MFJ 994B would be +1 and the counts on the MFJ 991 would be -1. The store recorded no discrepancies in either items during year end inventory (or subsequent inventories) nor have the counts on either item been manually adjusted. All inventory changes are logged.

I believe the customer's request exceeds what would be considered a reasonable expectation from us. Our counts are correct, he's thrown away the packaging and the item is now past the manufacturer's warranty period.

Review: ordered an antenna from their online site on March 13, it was shipped quickly, I installed it to my radio and it will not work. I do know it is the antenna that does not work because I am using a different antenna on the radio and it works fine. I've tried contacting these people serveral times and they will not reply.Desired Settlement: would like to have this antenna replaced with one that works or an outright refund.
