Insured has reversed payment made on his down payment..see attached chargeback formAs agreed on signed payment agreement, policy had canceled for non-paymentWhen a payment is reversed by insured's request, we can not afford any coverage's until payment is re-submitted by certified funds

I am formally rebutting [redacted] claim that our Agency "dropped the ball" when it came to cancelling insurance policy where she is the secondary driver(see attached declaration page) We had informed Miss [redacted] that by California insurance department regulations we would need the "named insured" (Antonio Santander) to call or write a cancellation request to process termination of policy We confirmed cancellation regulations with her current insurance carrier(see attached Web Chat) and again advised her that the only person that can terminate policy is the named insured We take all of insured's request seriously and processes them in a professional and timely manner We regret that miss [redacted] relationship with the name insured is estranged and we tried within California insurance regulations to help her resolved this matter Sincerely, [redacted] Manger

Unfortunately since [redacted] was the primary Insured on the policy Commerce West Mapfre would not accept ANY changes including bank account changes from anyone but [redacted] , because he is the name insured This was explained to Secondary driver ( [redacted] ) over the phone Since the policy inception date July of the policy has continuously drafted from the secondary drivers checking account ( [redacted] )Authorization was giving directly from [redacted] and Corinne to auto draft the bank account in question, any funds received are not received by Amato Insurance but by the Insurance carrier directly Commerce West Mapfre) Refunds would have to be issued directly from Commerce West Mapfre Insurance

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The fact of the matter is that my ex did write the policy and as I told *** and ***, it would be impossible to get his signature, and *** assured me that *** would contact me back and since he is the owner, he has the authority to do "something." He then failed to get back to me I also requested to stop all drafts out of my bank acctregardless of who the policy holder is They were now unauthorized and they illegally drafted my acctwithout my permission In fact, they never had my written permission So, if they had of done that, this would be a non-issue and they could go after the main policy holder, which is NOT me I demand this matter be taken seriously, and a refund be issued by the agency who clearly is lying and taking advantage of a single mother Do NOT trust these people as they do not do what they say they will

Review: I'm facing an issue regarding my policy that I signed up for in October, I had signed up for autopay on my insurance policy so that way I didn't have to worry about it and had and accident on January 9th 2014 my insurance is telling me I wasn't covered at the time so there no longer able to cover my damages or myself for this accident. I had been trying to figure out why considering I had auto payment with my insurance broker Amato Insurance Agency and now there telling me that I was never signed up for auto payments! This was absurd considering my vehicle is new and I have a Lein I have to have full coverage! I tried to figure everything out but the manager has been rude and yelling at me and also hanging up on me I can't seem to get anything resolved! I've called plenty of times but still the same behavior which I find very unethical especially a manager!! I can't get any coverage until I can get anything stating that I had signed up for autopay from the broker toe finding that this broker has done or is doing unethical things towards me and my policy so I have no choice but to take it to a superior.Desired Settlement: I just want the broker to fix what I ask and even if that considers refunding my non payment that was suppose to be made due to my cancellation and reason why I can't be covered for the month of dec 2013, I would also like a letter sent to my actual insurance agency stating I did sign up for auto payment at the beginning of my policy purchase.

Review: [redacted] was instructed by me in February of this year, to cancel my policy that had my ex-boyfriend included on it. I told him the situation was terrible and I would not be able to get a hold of him, and not to process anything further from my bank acct. He then proceeded to tell me he would have another agent in his office follow up, and also look into new rates for my only. I told him that would be great, but not until we resolved the other processing payments for the cancelled policy. Hi co-agent [redacted] called, days later, (not promptly at all), and gave me new policy quotes only(had no knowledge of any of the customer service un-resolved issues). I told him that was nice, but I was still needing to correct what was before committing to move forward on a new policy. He said [redacted] was the owner (that he was at Knott's Berry Farm with his kids) and would have to call back the next day, to which he never did. I texted [redacted] on March 5th to ensure cancellation was made in writing and did not get a response yet again. He did not reply to me multiple times, (except where the possibility of a new policy was possible) His bedside manners are terrible!! When I did get him on the phone, he denied this, proceeded to interrupt me, argued with me, and told me to have fun filing a complaint! He stood by a claim that my ex-boyfriend was to sign a form (to which I told him was not possible for me), but admitted they dropped the ball. In any event, I personally instructed him on multiple occasions to cancel the use of my bank acct. My ex-boyfriend being the policy holder has no bearing on that it is my bank acct., and NO more charges, means no more charges. I told [redacted] I would be contacting every agency I know and he said he loves it..."bring it on." His business is not accredited, but I do hope that anyone else reading this will beware of the shady business owner.Desired Settlement: I am demanding that NO more funds be withdrawn from my bank acct., and a refund for the charges in February thru present.
