Ms. [redacted] called me and talked to me about gutters for her house. I went by her house and she wasn't there. I called her with a estimate of $325 and ask her to meet me and sign the contract and she said she was at work and would sign it that day but she didn't do it. I turned in the order for the...

job and had the [redacted] installed by [redacted]. I had no signed contract. After a couple of days I never could get her to sign it. By the second day the job had been completed. She said she tried to pay the workers on the job. The workers aren't allowed to receive payments. I called her the next evening and asked her for payment and she said she wasn't home and asked me if she could mail the check. I called her about four days later and asked her if she mailed the check and she said she forgot to do it. She said she would mail it that day. Three days went by and I called her again and asked her again for the payment and she stated she mailed it the same time she mailed the lawnmower mans check and he got his check. I said I could care less about his check and at this point it had been seven days. She called me after the 10th day on a Friday evening around 6pm . She said she hadn't heard from me and wanted to know if I had gotten the check. That is when I told her she was a liar and wanted to come get the gutters because she hadn't paid for them. She hung up on me and five minutes later a man from Houston called me and said he was a friend of hers and would meet me at 9am the next morning to pay me. He did meet with me and pay me the $325 for the job. I told him if she would just tell me the truth I wouldn't have bugged her for the last 10 days. He said he know about that but that she was just having him pay for it. I noticed in her report that she had a stop payment from the bank for $30 and I challenger her to prove it. If she can do that then I am lying. She also made the comment that I asked her out but I have never met the woman and don't know what she looks like. It just goes along with all her lies. I would like proof from the bank on the check she says she mailed and stopped payment on. Further notice she never signed the contract with Amazing Siding and Roofing so I was obligated to pay [redacted] myself. Mr [redacted] called me on the 27th of August and I sold him the job for $4750 with a down payment of $2750 down. 29th. They came out on wednesday and their was no materials and they [redacted] who handles windstorm and I told [redacted] I forgot to tell him to cancel windstorm due to the fact that when I looked at the check it was made out for $27.50 instead of $2750.00. I called Mr. [redacted] when I saw the mistake and informed him of the error on the check and he said he said come by and get another check. I went over there on the 28th and I told him his roof was being delivered that evening and I had already ordered Texas Windstorm and while I was there I asked him if he wanted to go ahead and pay in full that way I wouldn't have to come back out there. They would roof it the next day and that would save me time. He didn't want to do that and so he gave me a check for #$2750. 30 minutes later he called me and said to cancel the job. When I asked him why he said because I asked for full payment .  I told him that the only reason I asked him to do that was because he wrote me the check for $27.50 and that the roof was being done the next day and the windstorm and there wasn't any reason for me to have to come back out there. He asked me to bring the check back and I did. He wasn't there but his daughter was and I gave it to her. Today I found out about this complaint and I am responding to tell my side of the matter. I thought the matter was closed when I returned the check and cancelled the windstorm and roofing materials from [redacted].

As per meeting with Mr [redacted] on 12/21/15, he is willing to come out and complete the repairs that are needed and will to give a reduction of $50 for the shingles.  Balance after reduction is $600.00.  Mr [redacted] states that the consumer has not made the first payment on agreed monthly plan.

On July 7th I came out at ^:30 that evening. I gave her a quote for 6500 for an insulated ceiling  and metal roof for the patio to be trimmed in white vinyl. Post and beams to be capped in white trim. That evening she signed the contract and told me she would go to the bank and get the...

money, that it would not be a problem. I told  her I would start Saturday morning and she said that was fine. Turned out I had a crew finish up early and started them Friday morning the 8th. She comes home friday at lunch and doesn't say anything until 4pm that evening. We had already installed the metal roof on the patio. She calls me at 4 pm on my cell phone and starts talking about how she was getting another bid. At this time she had already signed the contract on July 7th knowing that we would start on Saturday the 9th. Coming home the 8th at lunch and didnt say anything. Calling me at 4 pm on the 8th telling me shewas trying to get another bid. I told her she signed the contrarct on the 7th knowing full well we were starting on the 9th to do the job she requested. I asked her why she didn't say anything at lunch while the crew was installing the roof over the patio. Her kids told her it was to expensive. She demands me to come over immediately at 4 pm and I told her I could met her at 5 pm. I went over and met with her and she kept saying she wanted another estimate. I simply asked her why she signed the contract on the 7th knowing we were starting on the 9th. The trim and vinyl along with the insultation was sitting on the patio. She was on the phone with her son the entire time I was with her and I spoke to  him and he wanted me to get all my materials and crew off the property. [redacted] talked to me a minute after her son hung up and wanted me to take the top off that was already installed. I told her she should have told me sooner before it was installed and had all the screw holes in it. She wanted me to load up all the materials and I told her I could not take the metal off. We came to a verbal agreement for $3000.00. I loaded the materials not used by my self . I told her the crew was taking a break because it was hot and they would be back when it cooled off to put the flashing on. That was all that was left to do. She let me leave the flashing in the yard. She said she would have to  pay me out because she couldn't get the loan. I agreed to that and I left. The crew should up that evening to finish the trim and she made them leave before they could finish. I called her Saturday morning on the 9th and she said her kids said it was to much and she would have to get back with me. She called back 3 days later and asked me to come take the metal roof off. I told her I could not do that because of the screw holes in it. That was the end of the conversation that day. I called back the next day and we talked about what it would take to settle with me. I finally told her $2000. She agreed and would get the money and call me. I called her back a day or two later inquiring about the $2000 we agreed on and she said it was still to high. I told  her Ii would get an attorney to address this and he would be sending her a letter. About 3 or  4 days later she called me again and started talking about it being to much and would I come down on the price agaiin.  I told her my attorney would cost me form 800 to a 1000 dollars to handle it. She agreed to 1200 dollars. That was on Monday the 18th when she called. I said OK and we agreed to let the crew come out Wednesday at 2 pm to finish it. That happened with the flashing and trim. She called me about 3 pm and told me to come get the $1200 check. Her son was present and looked at the patio flashing with me and the crew. We walked out to the front with [redacted] and she had a check from a bank for $1200. I signed and dated it while present with them yesterday. I had reduced the price from '$6500 to $1200 and removed all the materials not used from the site. We have a signed contract with her signature and an agreement to start a day early.
