Revdex.com- this is Amazing Charts, LLC’s official reply to complaint #***. We understood our customer to recently completed medical school and opened up their own physician practice. As part of that process; the customer used our free trial on separate occasions to acquaint
themselves with our product. Our technical help desk has a log of conversations during the free trial period; which stemmed from the customer’s unfamiliarity with how our product works, lack of understanding on the IT technical needs the product required to be used effectively. The help desk log indicated after a series of calls; the customer was able to use the free trial version of the medical health record. The customer purchased the product along with add on services on 4/28/2017. At the time of purchase, as is with all customer transactions and our company policy, it was communicated there is a day period where customers may receive a refund for their purchase, if unsatisfied. The customer chose to host the software internally on their own IT system in house. Upon purchase, there was a series of calls to the help desk asking for assistance on how to set up the software and issues ranged from connectivity, log in, and network configuration. The technician who spoke with the customer indicated that at the end of the call the customer was able to use the software. On 6/1/2017, the customer emailed accounting saying they “purchased amazing charts and dragon dictation software a few weeks ago, they have had many problems with the system and have been calling multiple times a day and still have the same problems”. claims here are incorrect. The first being, it wasn’t a few weeks ago; the purchase was a month ago. the second being they haven’t called multiple times a day; they called a total of 5. Upon the customer’s email on 6/1/2017; sales representative called the customer and offered free training on how to use the system properly. This was attempted and on 6/23/17, with the customer not fully satisfied, the service was cancelled. A portion of the purchase was refunded, even though, our policy and indicated at the time of purchase, we do not give refunds after days. After cancellation; the customer still has the software housed on their system. We provided the product and service as promised at the time of sale. The customer has not acquired the IT resources to have the product function properly within their practice. We do not intend to refund for the software itself or the dragon dictation software that we purchase from another vendor to provide to our customers; however, we can provide free months of our Amazing Charts in the Cloud service; which the exact same product that is housed at our customer’s practice, but is maintained in the cloud and does not require IT resources or backup services at the practice itself. *** ***VP Finance, DBC Pri-Med LLCPh. ***
