Mislead as to free sample and charged my credit card for the full amount.
On Nov.7th, I saw an advertisment from AMB Skin Cream. It was for a 1 time free trail sample of the product, paying $4.99 for shipping/Handling. I gave my credit card information and was charged the $4.99 and received my sample. When I received my credit card notification for payment due, I noticed a charge on 11/21/17 for $89.92 from 888-727-1575FACECREAM 888-7271575 CO #XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I did not authorize a charge from a no name company and disputed the charge with my credit card on 12-4-17. I called 12-7-17 to the number listed and was told that I did not cancel with them in time after receiving my free sample. And since I disputed it with my credit card company vs. calling them, my account has been "BLOCKED" meaning no more charges will be applied to my card, but they will not refund the $89.92 charge. And said she could no longer help me!

Desired Outcome

Refund $89.92 charged on my card

On September 02, 2017, I knew through my cell phone, about an advertising from AMB Skin Cream. It was a ONE TIME free trial of a sample of the product, paying $4.99 for shipping and handling. I gave them my credit card to charge for it, which they did.Few days later, on September 19, 2017, I noticed a charge for $89.92 from this merchant. I immediately called them at the number shown in my bank information and, I was offered PARTIALLY REFUND, for $30.00 some dollars. I asked for the full refund and I was told that I had agreed to continuous shipping of the product. This is not true. The customer service operator told me that "I will be better off accepting their refund because, if I file a claim through the credit card, they will claim I agreed and they will win the dispute".It is outrageous how some people base their gains on others innocence and good faith. This company should be out of business and its CEO punish for scam.

According to our records, the customer ordered our skin cream on a 14 day trial basis back on 09/01/2017 and paid the shipping and handling fee of $4.99. The trial expired on 09/18/2017 and due to the fact that the customer didn't cancel they were charged $89.92 for the original shipment.

The customer contacted our Customer Service on 09/19/2017 and requested for their subscription to be cancelled, which we did. Unfortunately on 11/01/2017 the customer's account was flagged as a chargeback due to the customer filing a dispute with their financial institution, in which their financial institution has ruled the dispute in our favor. At this time we are unable to provide the customer with a refund, we appreciate your understanding.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This business has a very sophisticated system to scam and steel from people.
Their advertising was for a "free trial with the payment of the shipping charges", nothing else. No requirement for cancellation was part of the promotion. Even more, the regular price of the product was not advertised. If there was a hiding check box that I unconsciously checked out as part of the order, and that check box meant that I agreed to something that was not stated and disclosed, well done by you, almost a perfect scam. This company should learn from serious businesses offering the same promotions.
Revdex.com should make people aware, somehow, of this scams.

It was never expressed how much the product was, the time before being charged, or any of the terms. Simply listed as a free, but buyer pays shipping
The product is listed as free trail sample and the buyer pays shipping. There is never any mention of a time frame before they charge $90 for the product. There is also never any mention on the site of how much it cost. On top of everything else you are never emailed any information that your "trial" period is about to expire to give you a chance to cancel and return the product. When you call customer service they are rude and refuse to work with you and never deviate from the script they are given. When you ask to speak to someone who can help they tell you there is no one that can help and instead off 30% off your next purchase. If you offer to send the product back they state that returns aren't accepted. Then when you try to cancel the "subscription" you never signed up for in the first place they make that difficult. This is a huge scam

Desired Outcome

I want my money back in full.
