The business stating that I am not a customer is just not true I have attached both the proposal and the final payment transaction I was not married at the time the carpet was purchased and therefore the proposal is in my wife's maiden name The credit card receipt clearly shows the purchase on my credit card after the carpet was installed If the business needs a copy of the marriage certificate or any further information regarding the transaction, I would be happy to provide itIt should be noted that the business does already have access to all of this information as they should be able to pull everything up by address When I contacted its customer service the representative clearly understood I was a customer as she was easily able to look up my address and tell me exactly what flooring I had in my house

considering the circumstances resulting from this particular job , I will instruct our accounts payable department to pay the entire $as the complainant demandswe feel this is an unwarranted situation and the terms and conditions surrounding the installation were agreed upon with the homeowner prior to the job We will consider this as retaliation by the homeowner for being required to provide homeowners insurance information for an attack by their dogs on our worker due to their negligence in securing their animals and even the comments about suing us over some issue relating to the jobAmbassador Floor company performed the job with industry standards and the time required [redacted] *** Vice President

They did come out and talk to me on the scheduled date They agreed to order a new box of the missing flooring They told me they would have someone complete the floor As long as they complete these issues, I will be satisfied

the complaint filed by Mr*** is very misleading there was a purchase made by a *** *** made on 3/21/14 at the address listed for the material described in Mr.*** complaint .Since the complainant did not disclose the full information it was more difficult to
connect the two transactions of the original new home work and the subsequent work contracted for and paid for by another individual. The terms and conditions of the sale of invoice RT61071 were a one year workmanship warranty defects in workmanship generally show up within a short period of time and especially with the first year As a community minded business we always try to give some leeway on claims however we cannot honor claims reported eighteen months after the warranty has expired .As an accommodation we can offer a reduced rate to perform the work required our hourly rate is $per hour which we will reduce to $per hour as a good will gesture Ambassador Floor Cofeels we have provided the service and warranty as outlined in our agreement and we cannot be held responsible for out of warranty repairs caused by circumstances out of our control Ambassador Floor will not refund any money , however we will honor the discounted hourly rate to do the work as required within our work hours of to Monday through Fridaywe will consider this matter closed and request this removed from our record as an unfounded claim

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/09/23) */

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/03/10) */
the job was installed in november of 2012 the contract implicitly state that labor installation warranty is a one year warranty. it is generally accepted that any installation defects show up immediately or within the first six months of...

the installation. There was no reported defects through the warrnty period or through the 2013 0r 2014 period and we were contacted in February 2015 this is two years and two months after the original installation and one year and two months after the labor warranty ended. In the spirit of good relations our people extended the offer of a fifty percent discount to do the work, which the homeowner accepted. Since ambassador floors connot be responsible for changes in the localized environment which generally causes issues like this.We feel that our offer that was accepted by the homeowner was a fair and reasonable price for the work involved and the manpower used. Ambassador Floor Co lost money on this accommodation and we feel the complaint is unjustified and unfair given the length of time past warranty.

The business stating that I am not a customer is just not true.  I have attached both the proposal and the final payment transaction.  I was not married at the time the carpet was purchased and therefore the proposal is in my wife's maiden name.  The credit card receipt clearly shows the purchase on my credit card after the carpet was installed.  If the business needs a copy of the marriage certificate or any further information regarding the transaction, I would be happy to provide it.It should be noted that the business does already have access to all of this information as they should be able to pull everything up by address.  When I contacted its customer service the representative clearly understood I was a customer as she was easily able to look up my address and tell me exactly what flooring I had in my house.

They did come out and talk to me on the scheduled date.  They agreed to order a new box of the missing flooring.  They told me they would have someone complete the floor.  As long as they complete these issues, I will be satisfied.

Although Ambassador Floor Company has no contractual or legal responsibility for the installation, We will inspect the flooring at the location specified by the homeowner.Although we have no contractual or legal responsibility in this matter,we have made a tentative appointment for Wednesday...

March 28 to inspect and possibly repair the items in question . In addition Ambassador will provide ,at no charge ,one carton of material allegedly taken by one of the subcontractors. We at Ambassador Floor company work very hard to provide and excellent sales and service environment for our customers and we value our reputation . We feel this claim should be expunged from our record and the consumer should withdraw the claim entirely. there was no fault on the part of Ambassador Floor company and yet we will make it good as a good business gesture. [redacted]

We did not dispute the customer information or location. The material in question was purchased and installed in 2013  the warranty period for installation was one year from the date of original installation . The purchase called to file a complaint in October 2016 .that is two years and six months after the installation and 1 year and six months after the one year installation warranty expired . As previously stated in our prior response  we were never contacted prior to October for any reason and cannot be responsible for situations developing after the warranty period has expired. We have in good faith offered a discount on repairs needed but under no circumstances will Ambassador Floor company refund the amount demanded or provide any free of charge service other than the discounted rate for the repairs. We feel this complaint is unfair and unfounded .
