Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  They did have a representative come out and replaced the parts they could.
Regards,

September 16, 2016Dear [redacted]:Thank you for taking the time to speak with me this afternoon. As per our conversation regarding Case #[redacted] for [redacted], at this time our company has done all we are able to do to service the product he purchased. At the time of his purchase, we were...

buying our product from a Manufacturer by the name of [redacted] has since gone out of business. When [redacted] called into our service department, we scheduled one of our technicians to go to his home and inspect the issues he was having. During our inspection, we were able to determine that the issue required replacement of a part on his door. Unfortunately, since [redacted] has gone out of business we are unable to get any custom parts for the custom product which we installed in his home. We have searched other manufacturers and reached the conclusion we are unable to do the service. When [redacted] purchased his product from our company it did come with a Lifetime Manufacturer's Warrant. Unfortunately, since they are no longer in business there is nowhere for us to turn to get parts. Please contact me directly at ###-###-#### if you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter.SincereLinda JGeneral Manager

[redacted]'s installation was done on 6/27/2016.  After installation of the Window and Door, it was discovered that 2 pieces of custom stained trim were missing.  She spoke with our office in July and was informed that we would be "special ordering" the [redacted] to replace what was used...

during her install.  Once the [redacted] arrived at our office (9/8/16) we would be calling to schedule her service to return the [redacted], replace trim and inspect the "drifting" of the patio door.  Our sevrice technician should be at her home within 10 days.  I will update at that time.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
This response only addresses the trim, the [redacted] they took and the drifting door.  [redacted] is available at [redacted]'s or [redacted] and is not something that would ever need to be special ordered.  I walked in the store, picked it up and bought it the day before the install.  None of this addresses the poor quality, poor workmanship and their tactics of high pressure sales.  At no time was I ever told that this was not [redacted], just a business DBA a well known company.  I was misled to believe this was a well known company in business for years with their own trained installers.  I did not know this was another company until I filed a complaint.  I do not accept the door sill plate that has raised grain due to the pouring rain.  I do not accept the fact that my screen door lock was taken off the metal frame, drilled a new hole and filled the mistake with a glob of caulk.  As the guy was working, I said I guess caulk covers a lot of things.  He stated that it is great for covering mistakes.  Their response does not address the very poorly done window stool and the fact it is not ready to stain.  There are way too many things wrong with this whole install.  The painted white wood around my window has raised grain where it was not sanded properly.  Overall this is the worst "new" job I have ever seen.  My 20 year old trim work looks better than the new junk they installed.  This is not the quality I expected for the money I paid.  I am not satisfied with their resolution and reject their response.  I will never buy anything sight unseen again.  The pictures they show you make the products look so good, but when you see them in person, it is most definitely not a quality product.
Regards,
[redacted]
