Customer came in near closing time on April Checked out at 7:p.m.(Closing time is 7:p.m.)
Customer came out of dressing room and had piles of clothesOne was left on counter near the dressing room, which were the items she didn't
want and one pile of clothes at the front of store to check-out
In the check-out pile were different sizes of pants along with a few other items Because the items were from a clearly marked "no refuexchange" discount rack, we CANNOT take them back
The items are being discontinued by the manufacturer, therefore we will not be going forward with this lineIt is absolutely a clearance item
Taking back a pair of pants or exchanging them is not a big dealWe accept returns and exchanges on a daily basis, as long as they are IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR POLICIESWe do not accept exchanges or returns on clearance items We are not at fault that the customer picked different sizes (xxs,xs,s) pants, took them home & then decided which ones to keep or return
Our sales associates do not second guess a customer's choice of sizesThat would be extremely rude to question the sizes of their purchase
The sales associate who rang up the sale has been a full-time employee here for 11+ yearsShe and all the other clerks are well aware of our policiesThe policy was explained to the customer when she called Monday morning April to register her complaint
We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding this transaction
