Ambercare sent a caregiver to our home who overloaded and destroyed our dryer, causing nearly $1,200 in damage. We documented everything — including the damaged part and the replacement cost — and gave them multiple chances to make it right.

They ignored us.

No apology. No accountability. Just silence. If this is how they treat disabled clients whose lives they claim to support, then they should not be trusted in your home or around vulnerable people.

We’ll be filing a complaint with the state and preparing legal action. If you’re considering Ambercare, ask yourself what kind of agency refuses to even respond after causing direct financial harm to a disabled family.

This was not an accident. It was neglect, followed by stonewalling. Shameful behavior from a company that pretends to care.

The Hospice people are amazing. I do not know what we would have done without them. They were all so helpful and kind and just wonderful every step of the way. I want to include the physical therapist to because he got me in touch with the right person to help us get started with Hospice and we are just so grateful to have had the support and services for our mother and ourselves.

Problematic from day 1! Scolding clients and Staff alike day 3. It’s all ok until the sale is done. Once the papers are signed everything changes. Inappropriate staff sent and she caused problems for me where I live. This is why they lose the good people leave. Please don’t lash out at the good staff or they leave ASAP. Then you are left with an inappropriate workforce. They sent me someone who cannot read much at all. This is a safety issue for us all. Will file a formal complaint if this is not resolved.
