Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The landlord is acting in a strictly retaliatory fashion because of its poorly administered parking regulations and because I, as a paying tenant, am an outspoken person and have bitterly complained how this apartment complex is badly managedFor seven years this place has gone downhill in its total managementI have loudly complained about everything not taken care of properlyFrom rent increases that are poorly administered to how very poorly the Property Manager relates to tenantsShe is dictatorial, authoritarian, retaliatory, and vindictiveNothing has been done to improve the property condition in the way of new construction, or replacement of apartment unit equipmentAll the rent increases go into the landlord's pockets Nowhere else The luxury has gone out of this complex, it exists no more!! Let it be known that the management does its best to put down any expression of opposing opinions by tenants in violation of the 1st Amendment to the US ConstitutionIt does not tolerate freedom of expression and does its best to get rid of tenants who oppose all management opinions, decisions, and proceduresManagement threatens tenants with non-renewal of leases if tenants express their dissentThat is what happened in this case, for sure! Therefore management is absolutely retaliatory!Let it also be known that the rent has been paid on time, every time, and we have not conducted ourselves in any other way via crime, illicit drugs, damaging the property, or harboring illegal immigrantsIt is the management that has conducted themselves poorly, notwe as tenants. My significant other and I are extremely tired of being disrespected and otherwise very badly treatedEnough is enough!! We want remedies, effective immediately
Regards,

Customer identified in the complaint is not a party to a residential lease or other agreement with Amberley at Blue Bell, LP LP ("Landlord"), however, the party identified by customer as his "significant other" is a tenant under a residential lease with Landlord.Customer complains the landlord's...

election not to renew his significant other's (tenant's) lease is due to tenant's use of both the parking spot designated and assigned to tenant's rental unit and a parking spot designated and assigned to another rental unit.Customer wrongly asserts that landlord's election not to renew tenant's lease is a retaliatory action in violation in violation of "2010 Pennsylvania Code, title 66 - Public Utilities, Chapter 15 - Service and Facilities, Section 1531 - Retaliation by Landlord Prohibited".  Customer's claim is both untrue and inapplicable. The law referenced by customer relates to reprisal against a tenant for withholding rent after discontinuance of  utility service as a result of a landlord's nonpayment and tenant either placing the utility service in tenant's own name of making payment of behalf of the landlord for continued utility service.  Customer makes no allegation respecting utility service, has not paid landlord's utility bill, has not withheld rent on account thereof and no interruption of utility service or exercise of tenant rights under the law has occurred.  Accordingly, landlord's election not to renew tenant's lease can in no way be retaliatory under this law.Further, tenant has not alleged and no events have occurred that would constitute a prohibited retaliatory action under any other law.  Landlord has no obligation to renew tenant's lease and has elected not to renew tenant's lease.  Further, landlord is entitled to enforce parking regulations and although tenant's use of parking designated and assigned to other was not the basis for landlord electing not to renew tenant's lease, such would not constitute prohibited retaliatory action in any event.Landlord has acted within the rights in electing not to renew tenant's lease and while tenant's displeasure with that decision is understood, non-renewal does not violate any law or right of tenant.  Landlord expects tenant to vacate the leased premises at the expiration of the lease term in accordance with the lease agreement.
