This response is in regards to complaint #*** filed against Ambiance Counseling Services on 4/19/The goal is to address the problem in order to reach a fair and reasonable resolutionWe acknowledge that this client had a negative experience and apologize for the inconvenienceThe DUI
intake paperwork that was signed by the client specifically stated that the $DUI intake fee is non-refundableAmber McCrackin, LAC, LPC spent two hours of time (valued at $per hour) and the necessary resources required to complete the DUI intake for the clientThe client was informed that the DUI Level II Education group would not be offered until February and proceeded to complete the intakeWhen contact was made the client informed us that he sought services elsewhere and demanded a refund for the DUI intakeSince the services that were paid for were provided, Ambiance Counseling Services is under no legal obligation to refund the moneyWe would like to reach a resolution as the objective is not the money but to provide excellent customer service and high quality, effective services for the communityTherefore, we have decided to refund the $DUI intake fee that is typically non-refundableThe check will arrive in the mail in the next 1-weeksWe trust this is an amicable resolution as this is the requested desired settlementThank you for the opportunity to resolve this issue
