This company way overcharges - they get you when you're desperate (such as A/C not working) and since you're not an expert on HVAC you don't know if the problem they tell you is accurate or their prices are fair I recently called them when my A/C would not cool sufficiently They told me it was a $service call that would be applied to the work When they arrived I was told I had a bad coil and it would need to be replaced Even though the coil was under warranty (part), I was told it would cost $to replace I placed a deposit but had to wait because the part had to be ordered I checked around the next day and found several other companies that would replace it for much less - $or less compared with the $I was quoted When I called to cancel the order and get my deposit back I was connected with the owner who talked over me and refused to return the deposit I told him I was going to stop pay on the check and send him another check for the work done He threatened to sue me and hung up on me We sent them a check for the work provided ($250, which I think was still too much) so I consider the case closed But I will never do business with them again and I believe they overcharge and intimidate My advice: use Home Advisor to get multiple quotes

Had an issue with our upstairs and downstairs air temperature not regulating properly in our new house We had recently passed our one year home owners warranty so we looked up a few local places to come out and fix the issue, and we decided to go with All American Heating and Air based on the reviews Seems like that ended up being a mistake on our part First we had a damper electrical board replaced, technician stated it was faulty This was a temporary fix, the issue started again less than months after the repair So we called them back telling them it was the same issue (assuming that there would be some type of warranty) Well it was the same issue, except this time it had to do with the wiring going to the damper (the part that was just recently replaced by their technician, which leads me to believe that it was not installed properly) We were charged again and the issue was fixed...temporarily Less than three weeks after this "repair" the issue started again With me working full-time, being a full-time student, wife taking care of three kids our schedule gets a little hectic so we were a little delayed in getting back in touch with them Apparently we just missed our day window on the repair (wire "repair" was on 1/I believe and today is 2/16, 4-days out of the day window), and they refuse to come back out without charging me yet again for the same exact issue that we have had since July last year We don't have the time or boat loads of excess money laying around to keep giving this company to patch repair our unit We wanted it fix right the first time, and the second time, and neither happened Both the service manager and owner refused to budge on the day mark so I refuse to waste any more money with this company I also refuse to recommend this company to anyone, because I do not want anyone else to waste their hard earned dollars with a company that will not fix an issue or stand behind their work Congrats All American Heating and Air, you earned this rating by not taking care of your customer who chose you first Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me It won't happen again

Had a new AC unit installed in May 2014, Worst choice ever made using them after it being installed the AC drain didn't work right after a few tries to fix it they floored my house trying to fix the drainTurning our family life into a nightmareI'll never use them or recommend them for anythingEven tried to get them to come and get it and give me my money back, but they wouldn't do it

I recently called them when my A/C would not cool sufficiently. They told me it was a $105 service call that would be applied to the work.
When they arrived I was told I had a bad coil and it would need to be replaced. Even though the coil was under warranty (part), I was told it would cost $1100 to replace. I placed a deposit but had to wait because the part had to be ordered.
I checked around the next day and found several other companies that would replace it for much less - $700 or less compared with the $1100 I was quoted.
When I called to cancel the order and get my deposit back I was connected with the owner who talked over me and refused to return the deposit. I told him I was going to stop pay on the check and send him another check for the work done. He threatened to sue me and hung up on me. We sent them a check for the work provided ($250, which I think was still too much) so I consider the case closed.
But I will never do business with them again and I believe they overcharge and intimidate. My advice: use Home Advisor to get multiple quotes.
