He had been trying to disassemble the damaged parts himself and couldn't accomplish it. He had applied force and actually broke the casing on the assembly. The hold down rod was rusted to the point it wouldn't com out of the sleeve due to lack of maintenance. I had to use a punch to get the rod out...

of the sleeve. He brought it during the week and said he could be there Saturday night. We agreed on 7 pm Saturday night. I usually don't accommodate that, but if I do I charge $142.50, time and a half at $95 per hour. He was upset there was a burr on the threads on the hold down rod. He wanted me to replace it, and why was I charging him $50 for damaging his equip[ment. I only charged him $50 when my normal rate is $95. Where the argument ensued is when he tried to grab the slicer and take it without paying. I stopped him and asked him to leave my property, then he paid the $50 and left with the slicer. The work he asked me to do was accomplished for the $50.
