Just a note about an experience I had at Ambrosias AutomotiveYou can make up your own mind I took my truck in for repairs 4/27/They seemed very nice [redacted] (owner) called me later to tell me my distributor needed to be replacedHe told me he only liked to use top of the line parts, and recomended a distributor for $I had already seen distributors for around $at oreilly's, but I agreed with my NICE mechanicThey finnished my truck promptly and I went to pick it upThe old parts came in the box of the new distributorWhen I got home, I looked up the new distributor onlineTo my surprise, the one I got was the same $that they carry at Oreilly's!!! With the wholesale pricing garages get, I am guessing they paid $to $for itThey charged me $for mineThats a 100% markup!!!!! While not illegal, it is certainly immoral! So, while they are very nice outwardly, a 100% markup on parts is outrageous to me, and I will never go backI know some of you have gone there and were happyI wonder if you would have been as happy if you knew you were paying DOUBLE for your parts? I called yesterday morning requesting a price on a car thermostatSean was very helpful and gave me a quote I asked if I could come in after work to get this done I was there by pm and out by pm, on a Friday, too I was recommended to them awhile ago but never needed their services until now I definitely will be back and grateful that they worked with me They are super friendly and helpful and this is my new best place to goThanks so much for your gracious attitude and concern for my issue Plus their A+ rating on the Revdex.com website was a great plus

I kept having the OBD read a faulty ignition coil in the cylinder Ambrosia said they replaced after serviceTheir excuse was that the computer was somehow confused and actually needed number replacedI didn't let them touch my vehicle a third timeThey were kind in giving me a refund with little fightI went to Midas that day and after looking at it they said it looked like the coil had never been changed as it appeared old and dusty like the rest..(even asking "how LONG ago did they change this? They come new in individual packagesmonths?!" and itd only been 3-weeks) I guess my motor is labor intensive to take apart, even for Midas and Ambrosia claimed to have completed the job in minutes while I waitedThe tech who "did" the job at Ambrosia told me I could not watch him change it out (I like learning about cars) because it would m
