Very professional I had 3 companies come out and none could get the unit working. Within 10 minutes the tech found the problem and fixed it giving me and my children heat and hot water

I'll start by saying I never felt so taken advantage of. I hope the AMC Atlantic service representative, and if the owner is part of this scam, enjoy another customer 100% dissatisfied and my hard earned $550.00. First, nowhere do they tell you it's $125.00 for coming into your house and estimating what needs to be done. Second, the original estimate lists the repairs to be done, but the service rep shows up without the part (air leak eliminator?) and instead fixes a small leak and tells me with a straight face it costs the same. Third, the service rep takes the supposedly faulty part to his van and comes back with one in a box. When he's done I asked for the old part and he tells me he could not find it in the van because it's a mess and later changes his story to he threw it away over my neighbor's roof. I told him he was lying to me and I am sure he was. I could tell. for whatever labor he did and ripping me off by replacing the same old 24V TACO zone, I should have not paid more than the $125.00 they charged me up front. If you encounter any problems with your HVAC do not call these guys. You'll regret it if you do.

Review: On March 7, 2013, I called the service of Atlantic Mechanical Contractor for the boiler service that only required oil refill. The boiler was in good working condition prior to their repair. It's natural for the boiler to stop due to lost of oil in the oil reserve tank. Their repair rep advises [redacted] that they need to replace the oil pump and as well as the electrical switch. They convince and thinking that will resolve the issue, so set up the material to replace what was necessary to make the boiler work again. Initial, the payment arrangement was made in the form of cash and as well as the check and debit card. The debit card of [redacted] was not enough to cover the charges of $520.00 and was only instructed to debit the amount of $120.00 and not $520.00 in one transaction and that resulted to over draft charges made by [redacted] in the total amount of $150.00. Currently, [redacted] is asking for the refund of $400.00 back to [redacted].The main issue in this complaint is that they did not deliver the service well and to the satisfaction of the customer. After less that a week of repair service to the boiler, the boiler did not work, week after week of my complaint. The attached receipt proved that I am in good faith in paying back the service they have rendered but on the other hand they did not delivered the service properly. Instead they repeatedly asking for more money to continue the service that was not properly resolve. The tenant was left cold and could not wait this kind of useless argument and discussion.I decided to call for another service to resolve the problem and issues against the Atlantic Mechanical Contractors. Attached is the paid invoice rendered by another company, [redacted], Heating Oil and repair that cost me another $730.00 to correct the issue and make the boiler in working condition again.Per the [redacted] rep it was not necc. for the AMC to replace the parts like electric switch and oil pump.Desired Settlement: Refund the 60% of the portion of the money I paid in the total amount of$1,200.00. They have short record of invoice by $250.00.

Review: I was charged 42.00 in tax on a heating service. I was told by another company that heating is a necessity and tax is not charged.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my 42.00.

Review: On 7/23/2014 I hired AMC atlantic [redacted] to come and install ductless wall mount AC units at my house (3) of them. After they finished the same day they got paid $2,000.00 the same day. The next day the units drain hose was installed wrong and the units began to leak inside the house. I called them and they told me everyday they were coming. After a week the same repair man [redacted], finally came. He was st the house for about 2 hours and opened the units and said they were fixed. the same night they all leaked again. I called again and spoke to the owner [redacted], he told me the guys were coming the today, meaning that day. The day passed and at the end of day when I called the secretary said he left for the day. I called the next morning and no answer becuse they would see my number in the caller ID and not answer. I went upstairs to a neighbors house and used there number and they picked up. Again he prosmised they would come. This has been going on until today and they still have not passed by to fix the problem.Desired Settlement: I had to hire another company and that company has charged me $1,200.00 to fix there mess. They told me the units were wrongly installed and the drains were not installed properly and that's why they were leaking inside my house instead of leaking in the hose which goes outside. They had to bring the units down, address the problem and re-install all 3 units again. They were there at my house for 3-4 hours fixing the units. On 7-23-14 our company received a call from r. [redacted] to install 3 ductless wall mount units. We agreed to take the job from him.when we got to his home to do the job that we had already agreed on, [redacted] then changed the whole job around. He started to add work in that we had not spoke about or agreed on. He was very demanding and telling my workers how to do their job. [redacted] had my workers run electrical lines that was not included in our agreement. So, to make him happy, we did the work that he added in, which was that we run the wires from the panel from the outside to the inside units. [redacted] also relocated where the units were originally suppose to go, from the outside to the inside walls. Because of that the job took much longer to run the copper pipes and electrical rewiring. [redacted] than called us and we had stated to him that he has to change the condensation pipe for one of the units and install the drain line which was too long. The units that he had were old and used, one of them even had a cracked ban in it. [redacted] also stated that we did not respond to his calls. We absolutely responded and there was a couple times that we went out to address and there and we received no response.
