Review: On May [redacted] 2015 my daughter and her friend went to the [redacted] movie theater to watch an 11pm showing of the movie Poltergeist. They purchased the tickets at the Kiosk by the theater. When they went to the theater the door to the movie was locked. They knocked on the door and got no answer. They knocked again a little louder and a security guard opened the door and began screaming at my daughter and her friend telling them that Loews policy is to lock the doors 10 minutes after the stated start time and that they could not go into the theater. He yelled at them and intimidated them. He got into my daughter's friend face and they were both afraid. The security guard was older then them and male. The theater refused to refund the ticket price even tough they were not allowed to go into the theater. I am very angry that the security guard was so aggressive toward the girls they had bought tickets. It is not as though trying to sneak into a movie they hadn't paid for. The theater should have those security properly trained. That man should lose his job.Desired Settlement: We would like to have our money back for the two $12 tickets. We would do not want a gift card or any offer of a discount. We will never go to this movie theater again.

Review: On the evening of 2/**/2015, my wife and I purchased tickets to a morning show of Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie from the AMC website for a [redacted]. showing of the film for 2/**/2015. After seeing the showing mentioned on [redacted] as a "Sensory Friendly Film" that would have added lighting and lowered sound, we attempted to exchange these tickets for the next showing at [redacted]. This was done the night of 2/**/15, at which point a person at the theater told my wife there was "nothing she could do for us" and we would "have to try in the morning." Two messages were left in the morning through guest services with no answer. There was no mention of the show being sensory friendly when the tickets were purchased. We made every attempt to contact them beforehand and resolve the issue, and when we never received any answer and my wife arrived early for the [redacted], we were told there was nothing that could be done. While we are of course appreciate a theater which is sensitive to the needs of all, they should let their customers know what type of show they are seeing in advance and any changes to the regular theater-going experience.Desired Settlement: A refund of the amount paid for the first set of tickets that were never used. ($18.00, confirmation # for ticket sale [redacted].)
