in he did hire my coto remodel there basement we went to the township to get a permit for the work filled out the build app an submitted app about two weeks later the township contacted me and said that they want a floor plan of the basement and the changes that was being
made I hire a draftsman an paid him $ to draw out the basement and I took it back to the township an submitted it for review about two to three weeks later the township contacted me and said that they wanted a full set of architectural buleprints singed and sealed I contacted the owners and told them about what the township wanted they said ok get what they want I hire a architect to draw up the plans paid him a total of $ 1,for sets of plans for the owners for me and for the township I other meet with one of the owners at the township and gave them set of the plans and submitted the other sets of plans and I keep set went to home depot and bought x and sheets of sheet rock I call the owners and asked if when could I bring the materials by they said that they was going to india for vacation and we can pick up when they get back when they came back after to month later and trips to the township with no reply when they came back they contracted me and asked me what was happening with the township I told them that I have not heard any thing and that I would find out the township said that they now needed a HVAC certifcation and then they would give me the permit I told the owners that they now wanted a cert and that I would have to get a HVAC CO get that and I would let them know what the cost was they said that they did not want to do the basement any more an that they wanted there money back I told them that I would refund what ever moneys that was left and they said that they wanted all of there money back I said no and I did not hear from them for abut month and again they said that they wanted all of there again I sand no I did not hear from them for another to years later again saying that they want all there money back and then they contacted you

The insurance company does not cover roof that is out of pocket expense roof had to be repaired before insurance The insurance only covers interior of homeWe would not be having this problem if you would have done the job right the first time and repaired the roof and stop the leaking like you was hired to do.the water was coming into the home because of the hole you put into roof that was not needed and under the seams that you did not sealed you owe a lot ofor money for the damage you causedI sent envelope to your address in Norristown the same address listed in babe and you put on envelope moved I then sent envelope to your Philadelphia address and you refused to accept it is also sent you a text message asking for your address so I can send the envelope you never responded to the text all I want is the out of pocket money and the damage is your fault you need to step up to plate and admit that you made a mistake and pay the money you owe

once again the roof did not start leaking until the ice storm that caused the damage to the roof from the drain being blocked and im sure that the roofer that was hire would know that if he know all of the facts and not just what you are telling them and like I told mr *** in the beginning
I would have meet with a roofing inspector at the time of the storm and im sure that they would have said that the damage was caused by the water setting on the roof and freezing thats what damaged the roof and that not my fault

*** did state he would warrant the work he performed for three yearsHe NEVER stated I needed a new roof and stated that the repairs he would perform should take care of the problemIf *** stated that a new roof was needed then why would he even take on a repair job? When he showed me a photo of the roof he only showed me the rear where the roof, you could see was sorta separating from the rear wall he never stated any other damages to the roofHowever, after numerous trips back to my home the leaks remained and he kept giving me excuses at that time as to why the leaks continuedI showed *** where all leaks were, bathroom, back bedroom, middle room, basement leak from side roofIn fact the day of the repairs he didn't even do the side roof he had to come back after me calling him to let him know he didn't fix the side roofThat repair merely consisted of him laying roofing felt paper over the hole, no repair to the hole that was there to secure that area of the roof and that roof pitch was not off prior to his repair, the water drained off itAs for cleaning the gutters my sons, and I have three sons they come pass and do that for me due to the leaf build upThis is unacceptable, as he stated prior the repairs should have taken care of thingsAs far as getting in touch, I had contacted him on at least four occasionsI was ill for a period time and not staying at my homeHowever, the leaks were only noticeable when it rained severely and I was there to see themOut of frustration continuously having to call *** regarding the matter became s bit much, but the leaks got worse and caused a to ceiling collasps, and destroyed a box spring and mattressHe notes he never warranted the work, what contractor does work and not warrant their work out repairs?? Yes, he told me three yearsI have numerous photos of the damages and pictures past and present to support my claimI didn't want to do any future business with this contractor and tried to just save monies to have the work done correctly, however I still felt strongly that Ameen Contractors was poor workmanship, and I felt like I was ripped off and he should not get away with performing pour jobsWhen I contacted *** frustrated I asked him that we resolve this amicably, he ignored my requestThis is why I am filling this complaintSincerely,

I told him that I did not take the brick out and he keep calling and I stop answering and I am sorry for any damage that was done to his home but it was not my fault because his roof drain was clogged and the water would not run off last year when we had a bad ice storm and the ice caused damage to his roof I went to his house and went on his roof and chipped up the ice and took out a lot of rock I took one of the rocks an showed it to mr *** and told him that the drain had got clogged and he said that I had put the rock there and after that I still tryed to help mr *** also mr *** had been paid out by the insurance company for the damage that he had incurred so I dont understand why we are having this problem

spoke to her to come out I told her that I was running a little behind with traffic she said she could not wait and that we would set up another time for me to come out so I could see where the roof was leaking from I never told her I was coming the next day. and the molding that she is saying that is coming a part can be fixed was a nail in less then 5 min and I would have been more then happy to do that, for her but I do not owe her any thing. as I did not have a contract with her for any work and the work was done 3 to 4 years ago  and I do have a, 1 year warranty on my work not, a life time warranty so with that being said if she could talk to me in a proper manner I would still come out to see if it is some thing that we can do to help her with her problem we can fix the molding I can see why the roof is leaking and if it is from something that we failed to do at the time of doing the roof we will still fix it for her, but if the roof is leaking for some other reason then there is nothing that we can do. at no cost to her for the roof,  and once again AGC DOSE NOT HAVE ANY CONTRACT WITH HER AT ALL Thank You Richard S[redacted]  Owner

the cost of the job was $ 1,200 she only had $ 1,000 to work with and we did the REPAIRS at that price she said s that the price was $ 1,500 an we did it for $ 1,200 even if that was the case it was less then the REPAIR cost
and her receipt states  $ 1,000 deposit of $ 600  and $ 400 after work was done  and after the last time we came to [redacted] home for another matter  in 2012 she never said that she had any trouble with the roof  at that time we would have did something for her that day .
even after to hurricanes one being hurricane sandy did I hear from [redacted] about any roof issues and now after all most two years she send me a nasty email  and calling me a thief and that I had taken avanage of her.
And in the  middle of this years winter snowstorm  tell me that her roof is leaking and had been for sometime and that I needed to come address it asap because a lot of damage was being done to the inside of the house 
we did not install a new roof we did a REPAIR to the old roof I told [redacted] that she needed a new roof in the beginning and she said she did not have the money for a new roof we tryed to help her with a REPAIR
and for the small back roof the same thing I told [redacted] that she needed  extensive work also to the back roof becaues the water would not run off of the roof because the pitch was wrong and that it would cost $ 250 to fix it and she said that she did not have it so I told her that she needed to have some one go on the roof and clean it off once or twice a year to stop the leaves  from clogging the drain 
with any roof with a 3 year 5 year 10 year 15 year 20 year or life time  guarantee there  is yearly maintenance that needs to be done for the  warranty  / guarantee to be honored by a company we did not give [redacted] any warranty/ guarantee on a REPAIR and clearly there was no yearly maintenance done here  but despite the facts we came out each and every time she had a problem in the winter of 2011/ 2012 to try an help her in her situation but after so much time there is nothing that we can do this time we are very sorry about her unfortunate situation

Review: Ameen Contractors were hired in August 2011 to do roof repairs. Upon completion of the job they had to be called on numerous occasions because the repeated leaks were still happening. After showing the leaks again to **. [redacted], I was told as far as the bathroom leak was concerned that I needed a new skylight, after the job was done as for the side roof repair I was told that the pitch was off and it could be repaired (rebuild a new side roof for an additional $250.00.)However, this was never stated during the quote for the repair it was to be fixed. The side roof still leaks and holds water, it drained prior to the repairs. The back room started leaking again, this has resulted in water running down along the wall to the kitchen. The middle room leak has resulted in a collapse of the ceiling, destroying a mattress and boxspring, and damage to the wood floor. All these leaks were present when [redacted] came out to give the estimate for the repairs we negoiated and agreed to the cost to repair. He never stated that he could not correct any of these issues. From the beginning I had to keep contacting **. [redacted] regarding his repairs and he claimed he'd made several trips back, some I was at home, another time he came without informing me at all, that's what he states, and another time left a business card through mail slot. I was at home that day but never heard him on the roof, besides he should had confirmed any visit with me first. The leaks at time appeared to disappear but soon returned. I was very ill and could not pursue **. [redacted] regarding this matter, and being

terribly overwhelmed with the fact that all the leaks remained. I had to request a warranty promise of three years in the work he performed as I need that info. To obtain homeowners insurance. Also, he only gave me a receipt upon request he never sent he a final receipt if the work done upon completion. However, upon my request he did provide me v with a receipt for the town payment but I had to request this from him, also a detail of the repairs promised to be done. I am in total awe at this time by the way this job was performed the fact that the repairs were never correctly done, the excuses for why the leaks remained, and the fact that when I contacted **. [redacted] regarding his intentions to correct this problem as the work was still under warranty, he simply stated he didn't appreciate me accusing him if ripping me off and listing the cost if the material he purchased. Yet the leaks still remain I requested in to emails to him asking that we try to resolve this amicably and hopefully without legal action and it was too no avail, he did not respond to my final request of his intentions to rectify these issues. I have photographs of all damages incurred which I strongly feel came from poor workmanship. I am totally dissatisfied at the repairs that were done at my property, extensive damages has occured from repars in which I paid for was never corrected. As well as the non professional attitude taken in handling this matter.Desired Settlement: At this time, I am not sure. I am not very trusting of **. [redacted] doing anything else for me as his workmanship speaks for itself. However, I feel the roof needs to be repaired correctly asap, and all other damages incurred from this issue be corrected as well.
