Review: I continually get sales calls from them and their message is always, "...you NEED to call me back at xxx-xxx-xxxx"They say they are calling from hess business services. This approach makes it sound like if I don't call, I will be in trouble. and since I don't know who they are, you don't know why they're calling until you call them back and they try to sell you their services. This is completely an unacceptable business practice.Desired Settlement: 1. Stop calling me2. stop using this false approach that sounds like the federal govt is calling you.

This customer received phone calls from a third party vendor on behalf of Hess Small Business Services, a wholly owner subsidiary of Hess Corporation. This vendor makes cold calls to sales prospects. I spoke with the prospect this morning (9/18) to apologize for her experience, and let her know that her business would be removed from the call lists, and that the vendor would be coached on how to change their practices to avoid a repetition of this situation. I have since spoken with the telemarketing firm to have the customer removed from the call list and we are working together to change their scripting and call tactics to ensure that customers do not have this type of experience again.
