Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I have reviewed the response sent to Revdex.com by
this business (Ameri Benz Sales and Services, LLC) in reference to complaint ID
11195645, and find that their accounts of this entire matter are
disingenuous and insulting. Again, the following is a true account of
what actually occurred from 3/1/to 3/18/16):Fact: Salim changed the sales price of the vehicle(on
3/1/16) after the sales price had been
agreed to and authenticated by my signature and M*** (as known as MrAbebe
A***) signature on 3/1/16.Fact: *** Financial Services stated to me on 3/2/
that they do not charge their customers a fee (in my case Salim charged me $300.42)
for what she stated to me was for “not
paying cash” for this vehicle when entering into a financial agreement with ***
through financing the car loanTherefore, both I and *** fell strongly Salim
and M*** grossly misrepresented *** when charging me, unknowingly to
me and to ***, this fee; and
thereby actually doing so fraudulently.Fact: On 3/2/I@5:00pm I finally was able to take the
car from Ameri Benz after having to leave the vehicle overnight on 3/1/(the date
of Purchase) due to the driver seat not being repaired as was agreed to be done
on 3/1/16.***NEW
Fact evolving (just four (4) days after I filed this complaint with the Revdex.com against
Ameri Benz: On 3/14/16, while driving to work the Check Engine light
illuminated in the instrument panel of this car and the Check Engine light has stayed
illuminated on the dash until I left town on 3/19/16.My
response to Salim’s comments sent to Revdex.com On 3/2/here is what
happened: 1st- I waited
hours to be picked- up by a driver from Ameri Benz, even though I was told I would be picked up and taken to
get this vehicle at 2:30pm. The driver
did not arrive until 4:00pmI called
five (5) times in-between this time frame asking where the drive was. I was only minutes from this dealership,
thus while waiting I could not imagine what was taking so long for him arrive
from the dealership. When the driver and I finally arrived at
Ameri-Benz, the vehicle was not ready for me to take it and I waited
very understandingly one (1) hour before the car was readyWhen I was told the car was finally ready, the
car would not start so it had to be jump started with battery cables by a
Technician.I drove off from this dealership, I drove
about mile from this dealership to get gas and the ABC (Active Body control)
warning stating DO NOT DRIVE THIS VEHICLE TAKE CAR TO THE NEARESR *** ***
authorized SERVICE CENTER’ appeared on
the instrument panel. I then returned
back to Ameri Benz; the car was taken into a shop bay and the mechanic, who then
tried to figure out what was wrong with this vehicleHe then stated to me that he had to add fluid
to reservoir for the ABC because it was empty. Approximately, four (4) hours later @ 10:30pm
this same day (3/2/16), the door to the glove box fell open and could not be
closedTo date, 4/8/16, the glove box cannot be closed and just hanging open. When I picked up the car on 3/2/16, the
inside of the glove box only contained
the temporary registrationNote: nothing else was inside the glove compartment. I noted that the lock for the glove box had
been glued, which apparently was a temporary fix, because the lock was actually broken from the
back frame of the glove box door. I
called M*** about this, but he ignored my request of having the glove box
repaired. Not until I contacted *** financial and
not until I sent to Ameri Benz a certified letter did anyone (M*** or
his wife (Salim) respond to me. Their offer to me now, (days later
after I purchased this vehicle from M***) to now be able to return this
vehicle comes as a direct result of me finding out that MrM*** sold to
me a car that needs an engine, and comes
just days after having this
vehicle and the CHECK Engine light appeared on the dash; and as a direct result
of my conversations to *** about the purchase of this car. M*** did not just respond to my concerns
freely and timelyActually he ignored
my calls until I sent him a registered letter and after I asked *** to
intervene.Because
Mr. M*** and Salim would not return my phone calls and because the
CHECK ENGINE LIGT came on, I took this vehicle to *** *** of
Arlington for diagnosis where I was informed in writing this car needs
extensive engine work due to massive internal oils leaks.
The computer diagnosis printed engine fault codes for the engine in
this car (copies of these reports were faxed to ***)Please note:
M*** states he is a master mechanic in the Mercedes and *** sales and
service industry for these make of vehicles. Therefore, M*** should
have never sold this car to anyone in this
condition (the internal engine oil leaks)These internal oil leaks can result
in repairs cost that will exceed the sale price ($13,000.00) of this
vehicle and poses a safety hazard such
as potentially cause this car to catch on fire if driven (I
received written estimates for the repair of the oil leaks ranging from
$15,to $25, in parts and mostly in labor to remove the engine,
find all leaks, and make the oil leak repairs to make this car safe to drive.
I have asked the questions why M*** did not make these repairs himself (since
states he is a master mechanic ) before placing this vehicle on the market for
sale; of course now I know why he did not.
The cost to do so is not profitable for himSo, instead of making the
repairs he decided to fraudulently sale this car (and sale it to me).One would think his mechanics could have made
these repairs prior to M*** advertising this vehicle for sale. That would
have been the honest business approach and too, it would give a stronger
argument to his wife’s (Salim) response sent to Revdex.com in response to my complaint
filed with the Revdex.com against him and his wife on 3/10/16.Not only did they (M*** and Salim) both
change the sales price of the vehicle using fraudulent explanations stating
that *** was charging me this fee of $300.42, M*** also sold to me a
vehicle that he obviously knew needed massive engine work. After I exposed both the fraudulent charge of
$and exposed the engine oil leaks to *** Financial Services, and
because *** told me that neither M*** nor his wife Salim would return
their (***s representatives) telephone calls placed numerous times
to Ameri Benz, *** canceled this contract on my
behalf and I was told they were cancelling the contract because this contract
was getting "too messy" with Ameri Benz owners. For
M*** or his wife to hide behind their wrong doings by stating, " *** *** was not satisfied with the car so we are happy to have her return the
car" is not as simple as they (M*** and Salim) would have the Revdex.com
think. On the contrary for twelve (12) days I was happy with this
vehicle, until finding out I was sold a
vehicle that is not in good condition, but was actually being considered a
lemon by *** and *** Ameri Benz's actions in this matter have
grave suspicions of fraud and consequences legally of such business practices. This ordeal has been extensively time consuming
and costly for me and for my family. This ordeal and experience has been both
horrific and a waste of time and costly, when I thought I was conducting
business with trustworthy individuals and a reputable business that employs at
least mechanics whom I saw working on customers *** ***. (Note:
The Saturday before the check engine light come on, I had this vehicle
inspected and next I was in the process of getting it registeredI also
purchased a new car cover for this vehicle and was willing to have the glove
box repaired at my cost and I filled the car with gas. So, It is unacceptable as it is
insulting to me for M*** or his wife to state, “ I was not satisfied with this vehicle.” M*** and his wife, took advantage of a buyer (me)
knowingly and fraudulently sold a vehicle to me by: 1st -over charging me; and then
2nd -selling a car in need of an engine. *** (*** *** USA researched
this vehicle and then informed me that the cost to repair this car outweighs
its worth and outweighs the price
that I paid M***Plus, they pointed out the lack of maintenance history
for close to years for this vehicle(Note: I asked M*** for the
maintenance history for this car; as of 3/18/no evidence of repairs since February
was provided to me). Finally:There is the still outstanding matter of me
being refunded my down payment of $2,for this vehicle which I expect to
receive when I return the vehicle on 4/11/as has been agreed between me and
M***. Foremost I must receive in writing a letter from *** that
frees me from the financial agreementsMy attorney was told by *** that
such letter was mailed on 4/2/and that I should receive this letter (a
reassignment of the loan back to the deal) within ten (10) days.As a
direct result of this matter, I do not trust this business; therefore I have
availed additional resources and people (whom I have copied on all
correspondence to M***) to assist me in ensuring the safe and honest exchange
of my $down payment in exchange for the return of MrM***'s CL
back to himI have put into place mechanisms to ensure that this
exchange is done smoothly and without
incident. Therefore, on 4/11/we will call M*** to confirm
a mutually agreeable time to make this exchange. At such time the exchanges are completed
I will then inform the Revdex.com I have accepted his wife’s response to my Revdex.com complaintI made every effort to try to
resolve this matter with M*** and Salim prior to leaving town. That is why I contacted the Revdex.com on 3/10/
(nine (9) days before I left town).Regards,
*** ***

4. After I process her loan I went
over the numbers with her including the finance price which was $13300.42 and
all the itemized charges on her loan. I explain to her that all fees are
inclusive since its finance and we had to register her car making [redacted] as a lien holder on the vehicle. She told me she had a tag she want to use and both my husband and myself
explain to her that she cannot use her own tag instead we will issue her a temporary
tag until her car is registered. 5. When going over the finance paper work [redacted] looks sure and certain of what she is getting and she was happy she was

takes the car. I told her that I would arrange transportation form her work to
us. On the next day which was 03/02/16 I
send transportation to [redacted] to come and pick up her car.[redacted] not only
complaining about her finance she is complaining about the car in general. For that

December 16. 2013

On June 24, 2013 I dropped off my 1999 ML 320 Mercedes Benz SUV with Ameri Benz Auto Service at [redacted], MD [redacted] recommending to solve the problem of the loud noise that’s coming from under the tr ick and check the Air Condition unit, that evening the owner called, requesting I need a left catalytic converter Labor $270.00 ,spark plugs $108.00 parts ,labor $270.00, a/c leak expansion valve $184.00 parts, labor $270.00 ,a a/c kit $37.00 , Freon $140.00 , and s. a/c compressor, labor $270.00,1 provided the a/c compressor along with the left catalytic converter, I purchased June 24,2013 from [redacted] Mercedes Benz of [redacted] which I paid $180.00, with the return of my old converter I was reimbursed $150.00, ' delivered the left catalytic converter to Ameri Benz Service that day ,June 25 2013 this owner called once again stating they made a mistake, it’s the right catalytic converter that was needed, I picked up the left converter and replaced it with the right converter on J une 25 2013 at [redacted] Mercedes Benz of [redacted].

According to the letter Ameri Benz Auto Service submitted ,he indicated I requested both catalytic converter to be replaced, that is a false statement, I can only request what was recommend to me and the recommendation from the owner was to replace the left catalytic converter and the a/c compressor until he called me back stating it’s the righ converter.

The owner also submitted another false statement in the letter as well, heistated I never brought to his Attention that someone switched my calibers, when I brought it to his attention he denied it and stated I am the worst customer and request I never come to this shop again,

Due to the time lapse, I have two vehicles a Mercedes Benz SLK 350 which, I drive in the summer time and I drive the truck in the winter time, after I picked up the trucked I parked it and did not start driving it until October, I believe it was somewhere near the end of the month when I notice how dirty the inside of the roof top had black marking all over, as I start gleaning ,working my way to the back, that’s when I notice the panels was detached then I took a closer look and realize my panels was not the correct panels due to the color different, the carpet was pulled up to remove the panels and they did not replaced it conjectly, my rear door does not unlock correctly due to the wrong door panel,
