Criminal grifters
Ordered a pool liner didn’t know much at the time but they took complete advantage of me and than said to bad so sad! They are grifters plain and simple. Do not use them for liners they are a third party and a poor one at that.

Very poor customer service. We purchased a pool liner for $700 in the summer of 2016, waited an unreasonable length of time as it was "special order" even though we were not advised of this when ordering or we would have looked elsewhere. we had the liner professionally installed that summer, the liner burst over the winter of 2017-18. The pool was full of water, the leak was at the bottom of the wall. I contacted Ameri-brand for a warranty claim, sent pictures and a description of the problem and they would not stand behind their product, no assistance of any kind and subsequent emails have been ignored. We feel totally blown off by this business and would like to warn others of their business practices.
Now the owner is claiming that a brick (?) fell into an above ground pool over the winter and tore the liner. Anything do deny customer service I guess. Stay away from this scammer! Check their BBB reviews!
More recently the design on the floor has been flaking off, small pieces of coloring have been in the filter, liner looks terrible. Again they refuse to honor the warranty. A complaint has been lodged with both the BBB and the CA attorney general's office. Unfortunately there aren't negative stars available for the review.
They also refused to address the fact that the liner pattern flaked off after 2 seasons. It would seem that they buy and sell other dealer's old stock, no doubt buying at a large discount and selling at full retail without disclosing this fact. If you are looking to buy an item as-is with no warranty whatsoever then this is the place. Otherwise, shop elsewhere.

I purchased a Bimini top for my boat from Ameri-Brand Products online on August 23rd 2012. I paid

$439.23 for (the top of the line Bimini top) which carrys a 10 year warranty.

I used the top a few times to shield from the sun and or rain. This past weekend I used the top and saw a hole in the fabric. I called and spoke to the President of Ameri-Brand products and he said to take pictures and send it to him. I did take pictures and I did send them along. He stated he would go to the factory [redacted] with the pictures. I received a response stating: (This does look like screw holes. We could possibly get the canvas back and patch the top side for them or they could purchase a second canvas if they would like).

I voiced my disappopintment to the president and said I needed the top because I am going on vacation in a few weeks and cannot do without it. I asked if I can send it back at the end of the summer.

I voiced my displeasure, stating I will not back your product on any of my boating forums.

The presidents response to me: What do you mean to imply when you say: My opinion will not be favorable in my boating forums with regards to this product. You should probably deal with this yourself. You put the hole in it. You fix it.

My response: I did not put a hole in it. I belong to boating forums and they have reviews on all boating equipment, how can I favorably endorse it? We share information, you must know this. This is part of belonging to a forum. I paid over 400 dollars for a new top that a screw put a hole in. Is there no Warranty?

No response.

Ameri-Brand claims the screw head in the pole put a whole in the boat cover because of a burr on the screw. I provided picture of the screws also and there are no burs on the screw heads.Desired Settlement: Replacment of the faulty fabric.

Review: I placed an order with this company for a [redacted]. The website said my item would be made in 4 to 6 days. Upon purchase it said item would be here shipped by ground and would arrive in 6 to 7 days which worked out great because I needed it in 7 days . I ordered the item on 12 February 2016 I received an email stating my item would be shipped on 18 February 2016 and I would receive my item on 22 February 2016. So I called the company and spoke with [redacted] (secretary) and she put me through to [redacted] He called me and it and also called me a jerk five times and then told me to send him an email to authorize paying any money necessary to get my product faster. At the beginning of the phone call I let him know that the call was being recorded he laughed at me and said do what you need to do. He told me the package was already at [redacted] and nothing could be unless I sent him the email stating that I would pay whatever it takes to get my product (again). Then Tim said " I Am canceling the order and you are not getting st" and then hung up on meDesired Settlement: I want the general public to know that this business is absolutely a horrible business to deal with. They do not care for their customers and degrade and demoralize customers. Also that any business that stands behind the way that he tried bullying me shouldn't have the right to do business either. This is by far the worst experience I have had with any business in my entire life!!!

This summer I ordered a pool cover from Ameri-brand. I started by calling the company for help in sending correct measurements. My contractor worked with Tim Merino, the President. We were notified weeks later that new measurements were needed. I called my contractor and we once again contacted Tim Merino for proper instructions on the second measurement. Some time later I received another email saying we needed to remeasure for the third time. After this third attempt I contacted Tim Merino and told him that I wanted to make sure the ladder straps were cut correctly since my current cover had wide openings for the ladder handles which allowed leaves and debris to enter the pool all winter. I asked him to make sure the openings for the ladder handles were slim, not eight inches wide like my current cover..

The cover arrived without cut outs for the ladder handles which pretty much makes the cover useless. Tim Merino said he would get back and he did. He said if I would mail the cover back At My Expense, he would correct the problem. A cover weighs as much as a man and I had no intention of packing it up and paying the freight. I asked Tim for a small refund and we would call it a day. I thought at least I could get shipping costs. He said I had not provided the proper instructions In writing so there was nothing he could do. I reminded him that I had asked him to take care of the ladder cut outs during our phone conversation. If I needed to send more information or maybe remeasure the pool for the fourth time he should have alerted me. Instead the cover arrived without the ladder cut outs. I will have to get cutting shears to cut on a $3000 cover and it will not look good.

So beware, if you decide to do business with Ameri-Brand. I was as careful and meticulous as I could be and still did not get the proper cover. I am a customer and they are the professionals. I called and got the President in the line each time we measured to make sure what happened would not happen. Amazing!

Review: I purchased a safety pool cover that in my opinion has fabrication flaws. Email photo and description of cover flaws was sent in September at the request of Mr. [redacted]. Further attempts to get warranty resolution have been ignored.Desired Settlement: Obviously not a reputable supplier of this product. I expect full refund of purchase including shipping. Any product return shipping is at the expense of this supplier

Review: The bimini top shipped was the wrong size and when I shipped it back they claimed it was "damaged & not sellable" and refused to give me credit.

On June 30, 2013 I placed an on-line order for a custom made "Bimini Top" specfic to my Skeeter ZX 22V bay boat. I paid $518.20 at the time of the offer. Approximately 7 days later I received the top. A few days later I assembled the top and discovered it was not the right size and would not work on my boat. Thus, I had to disassemble the top and ship it back to Amer-Brand Products' plant in South Carolina. After receiving the return, Ameri-Products claimed the top was "damaged & not resellable" thus there would be no refund or exchange. I disputed their assertion but to no avail. The alleged damages where grossly exaggerated and in my opinion the result of the assembly & dissasembly process. This is a big item and assembly requires joining several long aluminum poles together and securing them with screws. Having to do it twice will inevitably show some evidence of same but hardly enough to justify the manufacturer's damage claim. Additionally, had the correct unit been shipped none of these alleged "damages" would have occurred. The company has never disputed the top wasn't the right size.
