Paradise Pools and Spas ID# [redacted] Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this recent complaint for a job that was done years agoI state it that way for a reasonHere at Paradise Pools and Spas we have a policy most other companies cannot followWhen a "big ticket' item is sold, such as a Pool or Spa, a small deposit is taken and the balance is paid on completion of project and the satisfaction of the customerIn the Case of an in ground swimming pool, that deposit is always $The remaining balance paid at completion and satisfactionLeaving the customer in complete control of their money until the pool is how we agreedAs stated by this customer, she paid in full over $30,for her swimming poolMeaning over $29,was held by her until she was satisfied with the workmanship at the time of installation years agoI feel any company in construction will agree, there are ups and downs to all construction projects but the bottom line is that the customer is satisfied when completedThis customer was or why pay the outstanding balance at that timeThe floor was done correctly, or why pay the balance [redacted] , An independent company with no affiliation to Paradise Pools and Spas inspected the issues at this Pool and found there to be holes in liner along with wrinkles in the linerHoles and Wrinkles that occurred obviously after completionOr the balance would not have been paidThere is no way, as a company, to prevent what customers may have go into their own pools that may damage the liner over the life of the poolParadise Pools and Spas cannot be held responsible for the holesAs far as wrinklesWrinkles after installation are caused by water under the linerThe water makes the liner float and when it settles a wrinkle appearsThat water may be from the pool, or possibly from ground waterThe latter would be understandable considering the rain we've had this year in our areaThis water under the liner also soaks the grout floor of the pool causing it to breakdown and appear to not have been installed correctlyThis would be noticeable upon the completion three years ago if it existed thenIt is understandable this customer is upset with what happened with her pool but we here at Paradise Pools see no way how we would be responsible three years after she was satisfied with completionIt is also unfortunate that we could not look as fast as she neededTwo weeks is about how our schedule runs with calls in service during our busiest time of the year

with Paradise Pools and Spas.The warranty of all components on the said swimming pool are warranties expressed by the manufactureNot by Paradise pools and SpasThe components that we use on all our pools are Manufactured by HaywardWe are an Authorized Hayward dealer and when approved to by Hayward can provided the replacement item needed if something should happen to fail.We at Paradise Pools and Spas sell and install Swimming PoolsWe do not provide wiring and do not employ electriciansThe ***'s hired ** ***, the electrician who we recommended to themWe had been recommending ** for 25+ yearsAs so graciously stated by Mrs ***, Our longtime friend ** passed spring 2017.We do not disagree that the calls were made to us regarding the faulty light.The process with warranties unfortunately does not happen immediatelyAfter having the warranty approved by Hayward, the next step is the electrician we now recommend fitting the job into schedule that has been delayed all spring and early summer due the rainThis job has not been forgotten about nor is it being ignored.We do have a replacement light fixture for the *** JobWe will have it replaced by a licensed electrician as soon as it fits in his schedule.As the warranty by Hayward covers the product, Mrs*** does have the option to use / hire her own electrician for the workThe new fixture is available for her to pick up upon returning the failed item.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintRandy B*** Paradise Pools and Spas

Leaving the customer in complete control of their money until the pool is how we agreed. As stated by this customer, she paid in full over $30,000.00 for her swimming pool. Meaning over $29,000.00 was held by her until she was satisfied with the workmanship at the time of installation 3 years ago.
