America N.W. Plumbing

My husband and I had a plumbing emergency over the weekend. Our septic tank appeared to be blocked so we were unable to use our toilets or sinks. It happened to be a Saturday which we knew was not optimal and knew it would probably cost more to have someone come to our house but we were obviously desperate. We called America N.W. Plumbing Inc. after looking at the reviews. A plumber came that afternoon and was an awesome, personable guy. The job literally took ten minutes to unblock our septic tank (literally 10 minutes) and we were charged over $700. The plumber felt bad and said he didn't charge us the full amount which was almost $900. We didn't complain to the plumber as we knew he was just charging what he was told to charge us according to his spreadsheet. When I called the owner of the company on Monday to plead my case, she would not listen to anything I had to say. I knew the job would cost more being on a weekend....but over $700 for ten minutes of work was insane! I calmly tried to discuss the bill and suggested some kind of compromise considering the 10 minutes of labor but the owner immediately got angry and would not let me speak at all. The owner was rude, unprofessional, and finally hung up on me. I was shocked and appalled! Not only did I feel completely taken advantage of, I was berated and hung up on! I believe in giving business to honest, fair and professional companies and the owner of N.W. Plumbing Inc. has none of these qualities. I will never use N.W. Plumbing Inc. again!
