Dear Revdex.com, This vehicle had been involved in an accident which required our tech to use a chain to bend back into place the radiator core supportThis is what houses the cooling fansWhen the vehicle arrived they were pushed up into the engine with little to no room for them to operate properly As you can image after an accident and not being repaired properly this is only a quick fix for the customer, which they approved and no charge was addedThe cooling fans were originally installed by the customer incorrectly which shorted out the fans and burnt the connector to the fansWe informed the customer the fans were not working do to being wired incorrectlyThey informed us they had a warranty on the fans and would come by to pick them up and get new onesThis would also be the reason why the vehicle didn't get repaired in the same day as we were waiting on the new parts from the customerAs with any repair with customer supplied parts, we can not warranty the parts should they fail in the future Fast forward to the vehicle overheatingThe customer called and explained the vehicle was overheatingWe explained that she can drive it to the shop or we can send a tow truck, but should there be an issue with something other than the cooling fans, she would be charged for the tow billThe customer did not want to get it towed, at this point there's not much we can do if the customer refuses to bring the vehicle in

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: he claims that my car was in a head on collision in which it was notI explained thatI am talking about the poor wiring job and the fact that they did not put the bolts back into the carIt was missing both of the bolts that attached to the top of the fanThe writing was bad and that is what shorted out the fanMy new mechanic fixed the problem and it works just fine I explained that my car would not make it there and the business NEVER offered to tow my vehicleHe just explained that after the fact when I tolld him his work was unsatisfactory and I already had it repairedMy car wouldn't make it out thereAgain, I knew there wasn't a warranty on the parts because I bought themBut I expected the work to be backed upThe fact is your mechanic did not do his jobI could not drive my car back to your shop because it is almost and hour away and I could not afford the $charge to tow my vehicle back to your shop Regards, [redacted]
