In June of 2016, America's Best Contractors fixed the complaint I filed with Revdex.com by re-roofingHowever, in January of 2017, their repair did not last as a leak happened and consequently SERIOUS water damage was created to two of my rooms; there is damage not only to the ceiling, but water leaked through the wall and windowABC sent a contractor to fix the roof, but I am still waiting for them to replace the ceiling and wallsBusiness Manager Janet G*** kindly reimbursed me for the damage to a laptop as it was sitting directly under the dripping ceilingBut nothing has been done to the ceiling or walls in my home office or bathroomThere is a bubble in the exterior wall of my home officeI sent Janet pictures of both ceilingsAlso, black mold I am sure has formed, which I shared with Manger Janet who suggested I try spraying the area with vinegarWhat I need is for ABC is to hire a contractor to replace the ceiling and walls of both roomsI have spoken to Manger Janet on numerous occasions with her and I trying to find someone in the Colstrip area to complete the workI have contacted everyone I know of; I even used *** *** *** ***, but to no availWhat is frustrating is ABC must know of someone who can do the work and to me it is just a matter of assigning the said taskPlease note this is a health concern and I have given America's Best Contractors plenty of chances to come through with their promise.DESIRED RESOLUTION:Finish the Job Replace the ceiling and walls in both rooms that were damaged because a roof repair was not done correctly
Mr and Mrs S*** signed our company contract in the summer of 2014 and selected a color for their shingles. It's my 25th year in this business and I've never told a homeowner to sign my estimate without letting them know that this is authorization to schedule your work
I've even gone to the point to stop a homeowner from signing unless they want to me to schedule their work For that period of about a year 'we tried repeatedly to contact Mr S*** to get his roof installed with very little response. Finally we were told around June of that his wife would like his roof installed in late summer, so his material was ordered. I contacted Rob in August of to schedule his roof work again without a response. If he didn't think it was a contract then why did he tell us to install his roof in late summer. We then decided to send an invoice for material restocking charge with an option to install his roof within the next two weeks and waive this fee. When he received this invoice he finally called me to blast me about our company and my character. We discussed and agreed to do his roof in the Spring of 2016. Shortly after this conversation I received a text telling me to send him an invoice for the total cost of his material and he will pay for it and pick it. We are in total agreement with him paying for his material and have sent him his invoice. We will release his material when we receive his check. I have all text conversations supporting our attempts and his responses concerning the scheduling of the roof he hired us to do
We do not keep records that longThe two brands of shingles we used in were Tamko or CertainTeedIf you can take a picture and send it to us we will be able to tell you which brand it is

*** *** We understand that their is just a two year workmanship warranty but all we wanted was ABC to work with us in finding out what kind of shingles they used and the next steps to takeWe weren't asking ABC to replace the shinglesWe repeatedly contacted ABC and they either didn't return calls or made promises to visit the house and inspectIn fact we waited around one entire week waiting for them to show up at the house after they promised to inspectThe shingles weren't installed wrong, it was just bad quality shingles and I guess we expected the contractor to be easier to work with after the job was doneWe will never recommend ABC again to do work in our area
We Inspected the roof on June 25, 2016. We are in the process of determining the source of the homeowners leak. We are reviewing our inspection photo's to schedule a plan to start a repair process. Shingles appear to be installed correctly around pipe jacks,
valleys and vents. We also discussed deteriorated chimney flue pipe(which has to be done by an HVAC tech) that is in need of replacement and could be a leak issue. Chimney pipe is so severely rusted that the rust has washed down the valley and stained the shingles. Will stay in touch with homeowner to resolve her problem
We are unable to find someone who will go to this remote area We are willing to pay for repairs and have asked the consumer to find someone to complete repairs We do not do interior work We will continue to look but are not finding anyone willing to do the repair at this remote location
