I reached out to the local owner of the America's Best Value Inn, and the parent company Red Lion Hotels with the following complaintThe response I received from RLH was that they give the local owner the opportunity to make the situation right, and what I received was, "I'm sorry we preauthorized your card extra times" but nothing about the less than basic accommodations being met and being charged an outrageous amount for the rooms
I have stayed in a lot of motels expecting minimal comfort to save money but I can't even give this property that much creditFirst because these rooms cost me $120/EACH PER NIGHTThey charged my card TWICE on the day we were arriving and when we got there they said my reservation was cancelledThe clerk told me that I could book online and I found a rate of about $75/night and asked if I could still get two roomsThen she magically found my canceled reservation and charged my card for the THIRD TIME at a total of $My sister who is a Navy V
