After reading so many positive reviews of this company, I'm surprised my wife and I had such a problem with themI should perhaps preface this by saying we contracted with the company through our home warranty companyMaybe we would have had better luck had we contacted them directly? Our air conditioning unit stopped blowing cold air into the house late on a Friday nightWe called the home warranty company on Saturday morning, and they scheduled us with America's Pride for Thursday afternoon, between 2-6pmThe technician did not show up until after 6pm, and when he discovered the issue (a freon leak in the unit), he explained to us that he would have to "come back tomorrow" (Friday) since it was a "two-man job." Friday morning comes, and my wife has to call the company no fewer than three times, leaving messages, just to find out when the technicians are to comeWe finally get an e-mail from the company, saying that our technician will arrive between 2-6pm, just as the day beforeHowever, the technicians never showed upWe waited until 8pm before finally giving up on themWe tried calling the office, but it had already closedWe sent e-mails, we called the home warranty company (who also called and e-mailed), but to no availEventually, we had to call another company to come out and fix the issue (at least we knew what it was now) I am seriously disappointed in this company, and would definitely not recommend it to anyone I knowI hope my wife and I are a rare case, and that this company lives up to its positive reputationAlthough, I wonder how many dissatisfied customers there are who have experienced similar issues, but haven't said anything?

This is a great family-owned companyThey are extremely professional and have great customer serviceTheir technicians are honest and reliableWe are very thankful for America's Pride Air for fixing our unit so quicklyWe definitely recommend their services

Our downstairs AC unit went out on the night of September 9th, I went out and looked at the outside unit and discovered the top piece of the fan unit had broken while the fan was runningThe fan was laying in pieces inside the unitI smelled burnt electrical smell and could see damage to the interior from the spinning fanI called our property management company on September 10thThey responded that they had called our request into the home warranty company the homeowner usesI got a call on September 11th, scheduling a technician for the following day (the 12th)The tech showed up on time and was very friendlyI explained the problem and he immediately knew what I was talking aboutHe told me he had just fixed the same exact problem with the same exact unit for another homeHe verified the freon lines are not damagedHe then said he'd have to research if the necessary parts were even available since the unit was so oldHe also said he'd see if the parts were available before he filed the report with the warranty company in case he could not get the partsHe waned me that they had a hard time getting the parts for the last unit he repairedHe told me he'd call me that afternoon once they sourced the parts
I never received the callOur master bedroom is on the first floor so my wife and I slept on an air mattresses and a sofa bed upstairs with my daughter since the upstairs AC still worked
I waited an additional whole day and contacted the management companyThey told me they'd reach out to America's Pride for an updateThe following day, the management company told me they left multiple messages with America's Pride but had yet to hear back
Again, I waited an additional whole day and contacted the management company againThey, again, left messages with America's Pride and still got no responseAt this point we were going on a week with no idea whether or not our unit could be repaired, let alone when
The following week, our management company contacted the home warranty companyThe warranty company in turn called America's PrideSomeone from Americas Pride eventually called the warranty company and explained they were till trying to find the partsI asked the question of how long they have to find parts and how long are we expected to not use half of our home
Th following day, the management company called and said all our parts were on order and we should get called to set up an appointment for Friday (the 22nd) for install and repairFriday came and went with nothingWe hit two weeks with no AC and no information
Tuesday, September 26, my wife contacted the management companyThey, again, left a message with America's Pride and got no responseThe management company suggested we call America's PrideMy wife called them on the 26th and as of today, September 27th, we've heard nothing
The temperatures are forecasted to hit the high 90s again this weekend and we will, once again, go back to sleeping upstairs since the downstairs is unusable
I understand that working with the warranty company can add a level of coordination that may slow the process downUnanswered and unreturned phone calls are a different storyI suppose that AC companies in Phoenix have more work than they need so good customer service is not requiredNo matter how lousy, the phone calls keep comingMy plan for tomorrow is to contact the warranty companyIf they can't do anything, I will file a Revdex.com complaint against them since they're contracting with America's Pride

Service was greatGuy that came to the house were experienced and friendlyI would recommend this companyAnd have recommended

Horrible customer service! They blame the customer for their lack of properly stocked trucks, their poor scheduling and for not showing up when they say they are going toVery unprofessional and I would not recommend
