This company preys on people in need and puts profit over careMy wife and I hired Addiction Services of America to do an intervention with our sonWe met with Robert P [redacted] and felt comfortable with going forwardOur son also battles depression and we were advised by MrP [redacted] that the facility he was being sent to ( River Oaks in Riverview, Fl.) had therapists and psychiatrists that would help him with all of his needsThe police were called to the intervention, because our son had left and had told my wife and I he was going to kill himself, and there was no reason for him to live, The officers found him and as we were making the report Robert was quick to let the officers know that he did not hear our son make the statementIf he heard it he would have been required to have him admitted to a hospital, he told us this numerous timesThe interventionist, Robert, met my son and an office away from the house after my son agreed to go in the local hospital for treatment and convinced him to go to the facility in FloridaWe were told that a therapist and doctor would be there to talk to our son when they arrivedInstead they started the check in evaluation and then sent him to a hospital for a hour holdMy son checked into River Oaks after the hold and snuck to the second floor to call usNeedless to say everything he told me I found reviews about this company to back it with the other facilities they haveEverything was arranged to pick him up at 7AM the following morning and it took them almost minutes to find himTheir inpatient facilities are understaffed and from my own personal experience the staff that I dealt with didn't seem to careMy family is currently seeking legal action

We met with Robert P[redacted] and felt comfortable with going forward. Our son also battles depression and we were advised by Mr. P[redacted] that the facility he was being sent to ( River Oaks in Riverview, Fl.) had therapists and psychiatrists that would help him with all of his needs. The police were called to the intervention, because our son had left and had told my wife and I he was going to kill himself, and there was no reason for him to live, The officers found him and as we were making the report Robert was quick to let the officers know that he did not hear our son make the statement. We were told that a therapist and doctor would be there to talk to our son when they arrived. Instead they started the check in evaluation and then sent him to a hospital for a 72 hour hold. My son checked into River Oaks after the hold and snuck to the second floor to call us. Needless to say everything he told me I found reviews about this company to back it with the other facilities they have. Everything was arranged to pick him up at 7AM the following morning and it took them almost 30 minutes to find him. Their inpatient facilities are understaffed and from my own personal experience the staff that I dealt with didn't seem to care. My family is currently seeking legal action.
