My initial call was with *** MI liked her overall phone manner and that she was attentive to our needsIt's rare that someone doesn't try to upsell you right out the gates and more so, that they actually inform you of ways that you can save money overall
Our technician was BrentHe went above and beyond in the inspection of our existing setup and never sugar-coated anything regarding estimated cost etcIt's clear that he takes pride in what he doesAn expert to say the least

unfortunately this is a home warranty claimUnlike a customer who is paying for there repair who pay us for our time at there home doing the repair or can authorize a replacement, when working with a home warranty company we are at there disposal since they are the ones paying the billWe
must attempt to repair before any kind of replacement can even be discusesA coil repair is a lengthy process because of the nature and procedures we must take to insure that the coil is properly repaired before we return it to the customerWe must carry the warranty on the repaired coil so we too are concerned that the repair is done correctly the first time aroundWe attempt to do these repairs as quickly as possible but as mentioned before it is a lengthy processAs soon as the coil passes a pressure test you will be put on the schedule to return and install your coilIf the wait is what is concerning you we can always sell you a new coil and have it installed right away if your willing to pay for a new coilwe will proceed with the coil repair thru your home warranty and schedule you as soon as possiblealot of home owners complain about the time it takes to get there unit repaired through there home warranty company and want to place the blame on us for their situation, when the fact is we must follow the warranty companys protocalls since they are paying the bill

Brent was very informative in what he was doing, was helpful, and had some helpful suggestionsWas extremely happy with the way he took care of business

I just had my furnace and water heater serviced by Ryan at American Air Conditioning & Heating He was right on time, extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY, professional, polite, knowledgeable and neat as a pin He explained every test he ran on my unit and the purpose for running the testHe also cleaned out the sediment from my water heater and checked all the connections and water lines I can't recommend Ryan and American Air Conditioning & Heating highly enough!

***from American Air Conditioning and Heating came to service our air conditioner a few days ago This was Christian's first visit to our home and I was very impressed with his knowledge and service He was very professional, yet very friendly and personable Christian thoroughly explained the results of his equipment check He pointed out one potential reason our AC wasn't running as efficiently as it could be He was right on the mark and sure enough he returned the next day to remedy the problem I highly recommend Christian!

Had Henry come out and do the yearly maintenance on our air conditioning system and furnace He was thorough and did a great job Some of the parts are older but he was honest and told me everything is working great Nice to find an honest service tech!

We have dealt with them for years - Very Good to Excellent -the same this time around!

I think that my recent customer service with *** Bis great she sent Filemon Tout to check my system because every time I cut the heater on I smell oil and it is causing me to have an allergy reaction When he came out he checked the air quality and when cutting it on I was having the headaches at the time Knowing that I was having the reaction did nothing to fix the problem he said that one of the test was a and it needed to be a before it could be considered dangerous I'm on a year trial that needs to be honored if they can't fix it the idea that its not enough to kill me what ever it is coming out, I'm sure he doesn't know how much it will take due to my reactions to it

*** was our technicianHe arrived promptly, was friendly and cheerfulTold us what specific work he was going to do and proceeded to accomplish suchHe has been here before and we would be happy to have him returnHe was clearly knowledgeable about what needed to be done and was professional and courteous throughout the time he spent here

technicians numbers are not displayed when calling to a home owner, we use a masking service to prevent costumers from calling technicians back in the middle of the nightthe phone number displayed is our office number so thats why when you call in they dont remember speaking to youI apologize
for being late to the appointment but this is our peak season and we see over customers a day, We try our best to get the tech out at the scheduled time but unfortunately sometimes we encounter problems at costumers homes that take longer than anticipatedJust like every other service company we provide you with a window with our best intention of getting to you in that time frameunfortunately during this time of year that is sometimes not what happens as with larger company's as AT&T, the cable company's etcwe do get backed up and are late to some appointmentswe just ask for some understanding and compassion for our technicians Who are working to hours a day in heat of up to 140*F everyday just to get your A/C running and working properlyI know it is of an inconvenience to you but during this time of year just about every A/C company is booked days in advance and running a little late to their calls towards the end of the dayWe could book less calls for the day but then it would take us longer to get to you so even then you wouldn't be happy

The original service call occurred on Thursday. With three small children and temperatures inside exceeding degrees, of course, I would have loved for the my air conditioning to be fixed at the time of the initial service call. But that was not my expectation, and despite many explanations now, is not my complaint. Our air conditioner is a communicating system, so prior to American's Air arrival at my house I knew the fault was the blower motor. I understood at the time of the service call that our blower motor was not a regularly stocked item, which would need to be ordered. I also understood, based on the statements made by ***'s employee, that the order would be rushed. I trusted that representation and made no attempts to follon the status of my repair the following day or over the weekend. I fully expected the repair would take some time. My complaint arose because when I called, as I believe any reasonable person would have done, to follon Monday morning, I was met with hostility and I was blatantly lied to. *** told me on Monday that my order had not been rushed, and was extremely rude about this fact. She further stated that she, herself, had placed my order on Friday. However, authorization for my part from AHS was not sought until after 8:a.mon Monday (AHS has validated this) and according to AHS, the order was not placed until after the authorization.? By that time, I had already initiated the cash out procedure with AHS. ? I appreciate ***'s advice to read my contract. As an attorney, it is advice I always follow myself. The contract does not contain any of the provisions referenced by ***. Notably, however, it does contain a provision wherein a service contractor may expedite a service, including non-emergency services -making my reliance on his employee's representation even more reasonable As noted, I have cashed out my claim with AHS. Their supervisors have been extremely apologetic for the service I received from American Air, and AHS has itself agreed to refund the service fee to me directly as a concession. For other consumers in San Antonio whose air conditioner breaks in the heat of the summer: there are companies who will help you -the lowly home warranty customer -but, American Air is not one of them. Despite degree temperatures, large call volume, long wait times, and my allegedly unpleasant demeanor, I found those companies. I worked with Carrier directly to determine and locate my part, and secured an excellent contractor to install it in less than hours. And as an added bonus, they all treated me well

The service technician Jarrod was very polite, knowledgeable and attentive to the servicing job I have a contract with them and very happy with their work They are recommended by me

Ruben came to my house yesterday January 21,I was very pleased with his knowledge,professionalism,and courtesy I feel he went above and beyond what was requiredI would not hesitate to have American Air back in my home again *** ***

We did our research, and phoned Mayra who was extremely helpful in scheduling someone to come out and assess the HVAC system which had stopped working Excellent customer service!
Our Technician, Joshua, was prompt, thorough and very knowledgeable in helping my elderly Aunt with her HVAC issues He explained everything to her in a patient and easy-to-understand way, which is so important when dealing with Seniors He even showed us pictures on his tablet of each issue, which was very helpful We were given several options from simple fix repairs, to installing a new system, and the pros and cons of both We were later joined by *** (the owner's son), who explained the differences and costs of the many options we had to choose from We explained that we intended to secure additional quotes before making our decision, which was supported wholeheartedly by ***, something you don't always see! We haven't made our decision yet, but can honestly say we were most impressed with this company

These guys put in our system about years agoWe belong to the club and they service it in the spring and fallTheir techs are very professional and pleasantAnd they know their stuff!

My experience with American AC has been top notch from start to finishI had more air ducts added to my house and the workers putting them in, Edward and Ray, worked nonstop for two daysThey were neat, pleasant, vacuumed after finishingBut the best part is I now have even heat throughout my house instead of warm rooms and cold roomsMission accomplished! Thank you, American AC
