So when I got your letter (3-9-2015) about [redacted] problemsI had one of my guys call them (Left mers checking on App) Have not had a call backSo I gess it all worksI new we had a prob but sume of the prob was just there noisy vent hose not the dryer,Last I new everything was working, That's working, Thats when my service tecSaid it was all working! I am rejecting this response because: they did not deliver my washer and dryer my fiance and a friend of ours picked my washer and dryer up when we moved into our new home about days after we bought the washer and dryerWe bought them on 11/5/We installed them as needed on our own and we were not notified that if they weren't the ones to install them it wouldn't come with an in home warranty, so I had to purchase an in home warranty after the washer broke the first time because they told us that they wouldn't come out and fix it unless we paid $for an in home warrantyIt wasn't that the timer on the washer went to fast, the timer was just letting water into to washer, it would make a couple clicking sounds and would stop working leaving water in basin of it with whatever clothes we had in the washerThe first time they came out to fix the washer, the water was turned off, but that is because my fiance turned it off after the washer stopped workingI told the guy that was fixing it that we turned the water off for that very reasonWasher started working again after he turned hot and cold water back onCouple days later, it stopped working againThe guy came over to fix againFixed it, started working, about a week later it stopped working again, and so forth. Now, with the dryer, yes we thought something was wrong with it because it wasn't drying rightGuy came over to check it out told us about the hose problem, we went and bought a shorter hose from home depo, dryer works just fineThe washer is the problemI want them to either, fix it right so that I don't keep running into this problem with the washer I bought from them or simply give us a good washer, one preferably that won't break down every weekWe haven't been able to do laundry for about weeks

To begin with there is nothing wrong with Mr. [redacted] washer. My service man went out and checked it and it spins great! The washers are made to put water in the spin cycle to help rinse out the soap. Mr. [redacted] told us that she let the washer sit for days's so we could smell. (Full of dirty...

water and clothes). (Of course it smelled!). And we wont go out till someone answer's the phone and she never did! Mrr. [redacted] came in wanting her money back but never said anything about allergic reaction till a month later. After we couldn't find a problem. We will upgrade Tue washer that is not a problem but they are all used and come with Tue same warranty Parts and labor only! We don't warranty for smells! They are used! Tide sells a cleanout at all stores now for washers because the front load washer's have a big prob with smells even my own washer has smells and I have used the the tide cleanout myself it works. Mr. [redacted] is the only one that has ever complained about this to us. We sell used washers with a part & labor warranty only as she agreed to when she got it. She signed the contract and that is why this is not a light complaint. OwnerL.

Company states: We are not sure what happened to the machine but the timer has been busted in half. Other parts of it now has been broken. The only way this could have happened then it would be damaged by someone. When our rep talked to the the guy that came in there was talk about getting the customer in a new machine and starting fresh. We have gone out to this customer's location to fix their appliance problems that were not under warranty. We covered the service all charges and even the parts to work with the consumer. At this point if the consumer wants to come back in and we can work out another deal in getting them a new washer but we will not be refunding the customer for damages that is not covered under warranty.

Consumer states that the business has finally came out, made the necessary repairs, and got everything working properly again.

Review: I bought a washer and a dryer from American Appliance and they both don't work right anymore and I've called them several times to come fix them. They have come to fix them but they don't actually fix them. When they tell me they will call me to tell me what time they will be by they don't actually call about 98% of the time. Their customer service is horrible. They are rude and when I call them to tell them I haven't recieved a call from them yet they tell me that they have called when they hadn't. My phone hasn't rang with their number. They employees are distasteful in customer service. I haven't been able to do laundry for almost 3 weeks. They're horrible business. I would not recommend them to ANYONE! I want my money back or for them to fix the washer and dryer that I bought from them. If neither of that happens I will make it to where they go out of business.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I paid $403.13 So I expect that much back.

Review: On April 15, 2016 I bought a used washing machine from American Appliances. They delivered it to my home on April 16. 2016. There is a 60 day warranty on it! I used it for only 3 loads of clothes. I noticed that it didn't work right on the spin dry cycle, it didn't spin very fast and water continued into it all through the spin dry. I also notice that the water was very dingy and smelled of swamp water. The clothes even smelled like that after I used fabric softener in the dryer. I broke out with an allergic reaction to the washed clothes, and had to go to the Emergency room twice. I was given a prescription of prednizone to to combat the allergy. I talked with the people at American Appliance about this and requested an exchange of washers but they refused that, said warranty on covered parts and labor not dirty smelly water. I didn't ask for money back only to exchange for a clean one and they refused. They were supposed to send someone out on Friday 13th but they didn't come. I called them this am and he said well he makes a call but doesn't leave a message. I explained that I was home all day and they didn't call. They are very rude and he said well he isn't in today but will be tomorrow. My problem is that I cannot and will not use this machine because of the allergy. I cannot afford to be sick all the time.Desired Settlement: I basically wish to have this one exchanged for a different one as like I stated I cannot afford to be sick and broke out all the time! Even if they fix the issues of the machine not working right, it still won't solve the problem of it being dirty and contaminated! So would like them to exchange it for a different one! Or to refund me my money!

Review: we bought a washer,dryer and fridge from these people 3 weeks ago every week they need to come out and fix some thing I told them the fridge was not working properly it would not get cold they said give it a couple days I bought a thermometer and it is not getting below 52 degrees the dryer stopped getting hot 2 times the washer does not empty the water on the ringer cycle now the dryer makes loud noises waiting for them to answer the phone so we can get fridge working so our food spoilsDesired Settlement: refund or replace with something that works
