CLASSIC BAIT & SWITCH On February 7, I signed a contract for $to have my vehicle shipped on April I called on March just to confirm and they said everything was OK and that a driver would call to confirm a day or before to schedule a pick up On April I received a call from [redacted] telling me that they couldn't get a driver for me on the 4thIt would have to be a week or so and instead of $it would be $or $ These guys gave me a low ball quote months in advance then tried to stick me up for $150-$at the last minute When I told him to expect bad reviews online he got belligerent and told me he could have my reviews wiped out in hours I cancelled the contract Don't do business with these guys

THIS COMPANY NOT TURTHFULON 6/4/I SPOKE WITH [redacted] AND WE AGRRED TO BOOK A PICK UP ON 6/28/AS THE PICK UP TIME APPORACHED I ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT AMERICAN AUTO TRANSPORT NEVER ONCE DID I GET A LIVE PERSON ALWAYS A VOICE MAIL WITH THE SAME MESSAGE THEY WERE BUZY AND TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE( SAME THING ALWAYS A VOICE MAIL AND WHEN SHE DID CALL BACK SAME MESSAGE DISPATCHER WAS WORKING ON GETTING TRUCKON 6/27/I WAS GIVEN DISPATCHER (***) PHONE NUMBER AND LEFT MESSAGES AND HE CALLED BACK TO INFORM ME THAT HE COULD HAVEW A DRIVER OUT ON THE 28TH TO PICK UP VEHICLE BUT IT WAS GOING TO BE $INSTTEAD OF $DRIVER WANTED $DOOLARS I TOLD HIM THAT [redacted] SAID THESE DRIVERS WERE THEIR DRIVER BUT IT TURNS OUT THAT THEY A SUB-CONTRACTOR AND THAT THEY COULDN'T MAKE THE JULY 1ST DELIVERY DATE EITHER [redacted] JUST SAID THAT THE NATURE OF THE BUSINESSi ASKEDE [redacted] IN THE BEGINNING AND THE DCUSTOMER SERVICE GIRL IF THEY HAD THEIR OWN DRIVERS AND WERE TOLD THEY DIDTHIS COMPANY WAITS TO THE LAST MINUTE AND THEN TRYS TO RIP YOU OFF BY RAISING THE PRICE EVEN THROGH THEY SEND YOU A EMAIL CONFIRMING YOUR DEALDON'T USE THEMTHEY ALSO SET THIER WEBSITE UP WITH ONLY GOOD REVIEWS(THAT MAY OR MAYBE NOT BE REAL) AND THEN BURY ANY BAD REVIEW S

I chose a different carrier after I received phone calls from one salesman within minutes - it was borderline harassingAfter I told the next salesperson that called about my decision to take my business elsewhere, the owner called me and when I explained why I chose another company he said "It sounds like an easy bailout for just not being able to afford it"The most UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE experience I have ever had with a companyI cannot believe they have any business if this is how they speak to people

American Auto Transport has harassed me over the phone with their robo calls for the last several weeks I asked for a quote for transporting a car, and rejected their service After that they call nearly EVERY day I called and the live operator hung up on me when I asked to be taken off their list A HORRIBLE COMPANY

On Jan.6,2015 received call from dispatcher ( [redacted] ) that price for car transport would be $150 more (car scheduled that day to go to Bonita Springs, FL.)because just got driver. Scheduled pickup back in Sept., 2014. Scheduled to fly 1-8-15. Scheduled pickup from Bonita Springs to Upton,MA in December, 2014. Called AAT customer service between Jan-April, 2015 10-12 times to check on price. Every time was told they would probably honor price because scheduled in Dec 2014. Received call from dispatcher on 4-6-15 for pickup 4-8-15; price would be $200.00 more. Scheduled to fly to MA 4/12/15. Dispatcher gave me 15 minutes to try to get new carrier. I asked for an hour to try to get another carrier I called 3 places and left message at one . I received call next day and cancelled with AAT. Lost deposit of $175 because according to contract, if have driver, lose deposit. I should have investigated AAT but I want public to know who they are dealing with.

This was my first time buy a car through an online auctionOnce I bought the car I started my search for a company that would deliver car to my houseAt first I made a mistake and started with a Company that had me in good for daysPaul SFrom American Auto Transport called me and educated me on why I didn't secure a truck to deliver my car with this company I called in to make the haul for meWell after (1) call, (2) texts messages and (1) email the following day coordination was made to have my car picked up and in route to mePaul is a straight shooter and well educated in the hauling industryWhat he says is how its going to be with out failTotal confidence in Paul and the rest of the Staff at American Transport in Davie FloridaI highly recommend this company to anyone that needs a vehicle moved no matter where it isDon't let other companies tell you they will save you money, that's just BS to get you in a contract and while you sit at home waiting for days with no correspondenceIt's incredible (11) hours after outlr first call and my car I bought is picked upThis is the company to hire outIf you believe me, give them a call and get true professionals to work for you

I was highly pleased with the service I receivedThree companies later American Auto Transport was the better of the three*** *** was very professional in his delivery and his customer service skills were excellentHe was honest, didn't over promise and undeliver what his company could do
He educated me on how this whole transportation industry work and what pitfalls to avoidI was very impressed with the *** the supervisor who did an excellent job of keeping me engaged of where and who my drivers were to ensure my son's car arrived safely in Stillwater Oklahoma
I have told all my friends and colleagues in the Fort Bragg area this is a great company to do business withIf they had stars to give I would give this company stars (highest)

On February 7, 2015 I signed a contract for $550 to have my vehicle shipped on April 4. I called on March 31 just to confirm and they said everything was OK and that a driver would call to confirm a day or 2 before to schedule a pick up. On April 2 I received a call from [redacted] telling me that they couldn't get a driver for me on the 4th. It would have to be a week or so and instead of $550 it would be $700 or $750. These guys gave me a low ball quote months in advance then tried to stick me up for $150-$200 at the last minute. When I told him to expect bad reviews online he got belligerent and told me he could have my reviews wiped out in 48 hours. I cancelled the contract. Don't do business with these guys.

Horrible Transport company. DO NOT USE THEM unless you're transporting a car for parts. Our car was delivered with "ROCKS, mud, stones in horrible condition. Their "100,000.00 insurance coverage" is BS. The car has close to 6000.00 damage and their offer of 50.00 off a future transport is unacceptable. They blame the damage to my car on going through 2 snow storms. SNOW doesn't produce ROCKS. WE have provided extensive information and proof of the damages. Their response to BBS of 50.00 is an admission of guilt yet, not taking responsibility for the 6000.00 worth of damages to my car by putting inoperable cars above mine. These cars were removed from the truck with a forklift. YOU should be ashamed of yourselves. I seriously couldn't work for this company ripping off consumers. YOU are all a disgrace. Do not believe the fake positive write-ups for this company on numerous sites. They offer a contract, that only the consumer is to abide by.
