My employer paid for the cannabis conference in New Orleans in Dec I am unable to attend. I have called for a refund, told I must email, given several emails which ALL come back as not legitimate/u deliverable. I am simply trying to get a refund. Very unprofessional organization!

Hello,
I received your notice of the complaint filed against the Cannabis Care Conference and ACNA this morning.
Our response regarding the complaint is following:
In September the customer reached out to us and requested a refund for the conference. They were directed to our cancellation policy which is posted on the website - https://www.cannacareconference.com/website/4568/attend/. The customer was told they must submit something in writing before the refund could be processed. We did not hear back from the customer until the complaint was filed last week. We do not know what method the customer was using to get ahold of us but we have no messages from her nor did we receive anything in writing regarding her cancellation.
ACNA is a non-profit organization with filings in New Jersey and DC. ACNA’s mission is to advance excellence in cannabis nursing practice through advocacy, collaboration, education, research and policy development. ACNA is up-to-date on all tax filings and reconciles all financials on a monthly basis according to regulations. The Cannabis Care Conference is being held in partnership with ACNA and ***, a global association management and communications company born to help build stronger not-for-profit organizations, so they can make the greatest impact. We do it by freeing volunteer leaders from the constraints, inertia, and fear holding them back and then empowering them with the strategic thinking, best practices, technology, and top talent they need to achieve their goals.
It is unfortunate that this customer felt the need to file a complaint because they had direct conversations with the staff of the event and clear directions were provided for what needed to be done.
Regardless, a refund has been sent to her and unless we hear differently, we will consider this matter resolved.
