RE: Response to Complaint - ID *** Dear *** ***, Thank you for taking the time to inform us of the concerns Ms*** has expressed to the Revdex.com We always strive to provide the highest level of service to our clients and tenants and
greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. To give clarity to the subject of Ms***s concerns, we have had a few instances over time where the boiler, which provides hot water to the entire building, has failed Unfortunately when this happened, it is unexpected and we had to call an emergency plumber to fix the issue In these circumstances, we understand many tenants may be upset or unhappy about not being notified in advance when the water is shut off As I'm sure you can understand, when a boiler fails there is no way for us to determine when this will happen Ms*** expressed in her letter that "the building is aware of the problems so they should notify the tenants so they are aware" The boiler was not due for replacement so we had no warning before an electrical part failed We understand Ms***s concerns and always try our best to keep our tenants informed of water shut downs, but in this case with the boiler, we simply did everything we could do in the moment to remedy the problem When we call out a plumber they have to shut the water off in order to repair/replace the part and restore the hot water in the building The several times we have had problems with this boiler they have all been emergency unforeseen issues in which we there is no possible way to notify the tenants before hand Even though the it was not due for replacement, we replaced the entire boiler instead of continuing to repair or replace the electric ignitorWe do consider all of our tenants concerns and want to improve the way we do business so everyone is satisfiedWe sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has brought to Ms*** and appreciate the Revdex.com bringing this to our attention Sincerely,*** ***, President American Capital Realty Group, Inc
