This company is offering a 100.00 dinning card whenever you use their services. I used their services and never received the card. I wanted to use the company again regardless of not receiving the card but I was insulted by one of the sales person just because the second time I choose not to use their service. Found a company with a better rate and sales person said that I was more interested on getting another 100.00 dinning card; I never received one. He also called my by a different name. Not a good customer service after all.
If you are trying to move your car, dont choose American Car Transporter. This is the worst moving company. I tryed to move my car from Schuyler NE to Houston Tx, and first they give me a Price of 600.00. I said ok 600. But 4 days later they said they have to charge me 75.00 more because there was not drivers. I said okay to. But the day of the delivery that I was supposed to pay the remaining balance of 525, because I already give 150 to the bróker, that they I paid 25 .00 more because theid said theid made a mistake and they told the driver that price. and the driver want 100 bucks more. So I paid a total of 700 instead 600.
So they change the price by convenience and they dont said nothing about that. If I have to move my car again im go to looking better and im go to find a better company
A horror Story of customer service( except [redacted]) : Quoted a price for my Car transport- said will not exceed the price- Delivered 6 days later after countless calls ( roughly 12 calls from me to one call from [redacted]) - still paid 125$ more than their quote which was used to 'lock the deal'. As I searched more options during the painful process, many better options are available, none of whom overshoot the price they quote. The cost of rental that I had to use during those 6 days - can't write about it. Overall, will not recommend this to anyone. Hope it was a solitary experience.
These guys were great! I had tried moving my car with another company and got taken for a ride. As soon as I called them they made me feel comfortable. They took the time to explain the whole process and why the other company couldn't move my car. They are upfront and tell you everything from A-Z. Even the truck driver kept me in the loop the whole time. I wish I would of went with American Car the first time around. I would recommend using them!
the guys at american car transporters are great. I have used them several times to ship my kids car to and from college. they have been great to work with and have always pulled through for me. I recommend them to anyone who needs to ship a car.

I was looking to ship my car to NY, I had a deadline and was looking around for quotes to see the fastest company.
In the beginning of the process, I was using a different shipping company, but I changed my mind because I was told on the first phone call with one of the members of the custumer service of American Car Transporters (a man), that I would have driver to pick my car up in 5 hours on the same day if I put a deposit on the order.
So, I put the deposit down ($150) and the same day I got called by one of the members of the customer service (a woman). She said that they would not be able to pick the car up that same day because since my vehicle wasn't working properly, they would need a truck with a winch to pull the vehicle in..(When I spoke to the first member of the customer service, I spoke with a man; he asked if my vehicle worked properly and I told him NO, that I would need a truck with a winch, so they already knew that a winch was required before he told me that I would have a driver to pick my car up in 5 hours), but that she would have a driver in the next morning to pick it up.
So, I waited the whole day for a phone call and nothing. So, the next day I called and asked about my order. That's when I was transferred to a different member of the customer service of American Car Transporters, Inc. This time, another man with a foreign accent (his name is [redacted] From that day and on till this day (12-28-2016) the following occurred:
- If I called them (XXX)XXX-XXXX or any other number from my cell phone, they would ignore my calls. But if I used a random number, they would answer on the first try and he sounded like he just saw a ghost or something.
-I was told on a daily basis (at least that I would receive a phone call to let me know the status of my order. and NOT ONCE, I got called by them.
- Any time that he would answer me, he would tell me the same thing "I have been working on you order and I should have a driver soon, I will call you today to let you know something".
-He hung up the phone on my face at least twice, so I would call back and I had no answers at all.
I have tried many times to contact someone to let me know anything, yet, I STILL have no answer.
Today, on 12-28-2016, I called them from my cell phone at least 7 times with no answers. So I called from a different phone, and he answered the first time. I asked for my money back and STILL he kept saying (I'm working on you order, I can have a driver there Friday).
Long story short. They charged me for something that they didn't provide. Their customer service is ridiculous, I have never been so mistreated before. This company sounds like a big Scam. Definitely do not recommend it to anyone. This company should be out of business.
If you're looking for a company to transport your car, don't walk, but run away from American Car Transporters, Inc. They will probably fool you, like they did me.
Definitely this was the WORST experience I've had so far in my whole lifetime.
