Review: This company is a major Rip-Of! And I'm not sure why different employment websites like [redacted] are supporting them. I first ran into the ad for employment for a Flight attendant and getting started for a new career. I then continued to read the ad then stated to call this 1-800 phone number which I can't find anymore online. I called the phone number it was a voice recording from this lady maybe its this Yvone F[redacted] that I see on all the paper work online. So the recording stated to send in a money order for $39.00 and to put your full name, address, and the Position you were interested in for airline employment. It said to send it in as soon as possible because it was based on a first come first save basis. I quickly sent the information in specifically like they asked. The Voicemail message was very detailed on what to do. I then received this email about 2 weeks later with links to other emloyment websites. It WAS NO HELP AT ALL!!!! None of the links were a help all the jobs were out of date or did not even exist. I felt like a complete it and I wasted $39.00 I felt like I just threw it away. Also the jobs with the links none were in the state I live in and I actually found out that Delta Airlines was hiring in my area through their website. But this position WAS NEVER POSTED ON ANY OF THE LINKS SENT BY AMERICAN CAREERS. I have not been able to get in touch with anyone for help like they stated and have not received a return email from this Yvone F[redacted]!!!!! I'm DISGUSTED THEY NEED TO STOP RIPPING PEOPLE Of! Review: American Careers sent me an email Via "[redacted]" at the time I was looking for flight attendant jobs. I called their phone # provided in the email and it stated to mail them a $39 money order to their address " payable to American careers [redacted] MD [redacted]." along with my name, address, phone #, and what area I would like to work in, and they would send me a packet to get started. I did so the beginning of December and my $ order was cashed around December 15th.

Two months passed and I never received anything from them. I researched them online and found their office phone #, which was not easy to do. I actually got it from a company they work with. "[redacted]" I called them and left them messages everyday for 1 week before anyone called me back. I Spoke with two people on 2/28/14 ([redacted] & [redacted]) since the lady I needed to talk, [redacted] to was not available that week. [redacted] told me on that [redacted] would contact me and send me a FULL Refund, since I found a job without their assistance. (In the email I was originally sent looking for jobs it states full refunds are available.)

I have not received any reimbursement, [redacted] has not called me back. I have called at least 15 times and left at least 10 voicemails and the company has not responded.

Although I am unemployed, I look for work, during my work search EVERY DAY for at least two hours, EVERY morning. To get back $39 by not only showing 10 applications, but also 10 rejection letters is RIDICULOUS! The "goal" of this company or their services is not clearly stated, as I have called the NYC office number several times to get the information straight before contacting the Revdex.com. They do NOT give any indication that it is NOT an actual airline or that the refund process is so very convoluted until you actually receive the "guide" they email you! All it states on the message that the $39 application fee is refundable. They are not disclosing the full truth of the application process or what the goal of your company actually is. You have to give them the money before you understand who and what they are/do and then they make you jump thru hoops to get it back.

My wife and I ([redacted] & [redacted]) sent this company $39 each for jobs that don't exist. I went online this morning to do some research and I found out that this is a scam and I was warned not to send them any money. We just want our $39 x 2 = $78 back and we want to expose this company for who they are.

Review: I signed up with American Careers and Paid a fee of 39.00 dollars. They said this would cover the cost of the processing fee to help get started finding a job with [redacted] or [redacted] Airport. I sent them the fee on

April 04,2014. I sent them a money order because they do not except personal checks. I had to send them an email 1 full month later asking them what is the status with the back round check. They sent me back an email stating this is second time we are sending this to you. I OPENED AND DOWNLOADED the lengthy packet and it explains fully how to prepare and what you will be doing depending on the job you chose. Now, they sent about 50 websites of different airports I clicked on every single one and most of them do not open and are not airports. American Careers stated that the airports in New York were indeed hiring. I called both airports and they are not hiring and they wondered where I got this information from? The Airports both stated they have never heard of American Careers.

American Careers has not answered further emails I have sent stating that the Applicant ID # does not work and to please help me that I would like to get started with my airport career. They don't answer the phone hours are 8am-6pm ###-###-####(they have many numbers and they all ring and have a voice message) I left my contact information along with the Applicant ID(THAT DOES NOT WORK) on their voice-mail and no phone has been returned. The voice message states the hours of operation and if you have received this message we are on the phone assisting others or you have reached us not during normal business hours. I have called many time in-between the normal hours.Desired Settlement: Refund. I do not want to be involved with a company that is unreliable. After, the experience I have had I don't trust anything this company will say.

I can't respond to the lengthiness of the information, as it all applies to applying properly. It does takes effort & a bit of reading to obtain employment. If you are not willing to read & put forth effort, employment may not be for you.The applicant login section on our website is under construction, & will not be available for use until it's completed. All questions are answered via email & telephone. Review: There was a job posting on Indeed.com listing American Careers as a company offering jobs at airports such as: Newark, Kennedy, La Guardia- these airports said to have many openings; in order to apply, it listed a number to contact: ###-###-####, once I called the number, a recording indicated to send a Bank check or Money order, no personal checks in the amount of $39.00 to American Careers [redacted], it also indicated to send in our name, address, contact information, position desired, location desired, and even languages spoken. The recording also specified if one didn't get the job, the money was refundable. I never heard back from this company, received a phone call, or got my money back. I feel like I got scammed. They listed jobs open in my area but I sent money and im not happy with the service I'm currently receiving. They're not following through with their calls I was super excited but I think I've been had. I will not recommend this and will be posting an immediate request to have my $47.00 refunded they said it was guaranteed in writing...$39.00 processing fee and I paid $8 for the certified check. The phone numbers do not match from the number I called the "supposed" location I sent it to was Baltimore Maryland on race ST. IM NOT HAPPY! please respond thanks!

Review: My son who is 18 is looking for a job and was emailed by a woman named [redacted] from American Careers LLC about getting a job in the airline industry. All he had to do was send them $39 money order for the application and he was assured that he would definitely be able to get a job because there are several jobs that required no experience necessary. He applied for them and he was not eligible because he had to have some sort of experience. He has only had one job in his life which was a co op job in high school for 6 months. He became frustrated and could not apply for any jobs because of his age and experience. I kindly emailed [redacted] and asked her for my money back and then she emails me and says that he has to send them 10 decline letters from 10 different airlines that he did not get the job. Who in the world is going to do that. I just want my money and now I am mad. I am a single mother on disability and I dont have $39 dollars to just lose and give someone for nothing. I then keep telling her that I want my money and she tells me to have him call her tso that she can help him and all I want is my money back plain and simple.
