I spoke to *** *** today, 4/27/2017. He spoke to one of our managers yesterday after submitting this complaint. We agreed to waive any costs to perform the leak search and credit the $towards any repairs that may be needed. *** *** has my information and will contact

I am rejecting this response because it is clear that there was miscommunication - and we also agree that there was no warrantyHowever FH Furr acknowledges this but does nothing to correct the error, thereby implicitly condoning their plumber's errorThe contract stated "new water heater" and that's it Since the plumber noted the leaking valve it would have been reasonable to expect this to have been fixed or replace as it is a part of the water heater It is also illogical to charge the same parts and labor for the valve rather than the actual price considering the plumber had to remove the valve and then put it back it as a part of replacing the tankFurther it was unprofessional to put a valve which was leaking into the electronics of the new equipment without even commenting on this This was clearly negligent work and the company refuses to address thatThey also have no addressed why no permit was ever filed with the city for this job, not explained why their pricing was thousands of dollars more than other similar jobs in the area Unprofessional and clearly unwilling to bother to admit or address their mistakes.

The labor warranty expired on 3/19/I have no idea what if anything is not working as we have not looked at the issueThe customer was quoted a fee to look at their systemThe customer refuses to agree to pay for any services no matter what we may find the issue is F.H.Furr neither agrees or denies this is an installation issue, we simply want the customer to take responsibility for payment if issue found is not installation related or items not under warranty

We are attempting to contact the customer again as the feedback regarding the compressor leaking oil and the indoor coil not leaking refrigerant is not consistent with our diagnosis. We are willing to work with the customer to resolve the service issues if he allows us to do so.Thank you,Darius L***, COO

I am not sure I understandThe following is in your complaint: "The extended warranty did not have any other requirements of the purchaser other than to operate the equipment per manufacturer's instructions and to perform routine maintenance." When you called for service we told you that we had no
record of routine maintenance so therefore all labor charges would be your responsibilityWe did not tell you that you were required to have an annual maintenance contract with us as you statedWe did not charge you for any parts just the agreed upon upfront price to provide the labor to install those parts
I will refund your requested amountYour extended labor warranty is a contract between you the homeowner and the Extended warranty provider
F.H.Furr is an independent contractor which has the right to accept or decline insurance workWe declined to perform work under that insurance provider and you agreed upfront before any work was performed to pay for our laborWe have not submitted for labor reimbursement from the insurance company and we have long exceeded our submittal time requirement

Specifically, the manager on duty contacted me the same day I submitted my complaint to Revdex.com and a technician came back out and resolved the issue that same day They were prompt, polite and professional and I appreciate the speed of the resolution once it came to the manager's attention.

I spoke to the customer by phone yesterday.  After reviewing the facts, it is evident that this complaint stems from a misunderstanding between the technician and the homeowner.  I have agreed to refund the $329 as per the customers request and he is satisfied at this time.Thank...

We have performed the check up that was requested,apologized and changed the filter. Customer complaint has been resolved.

I spoke to [redacted] today, 6/30/2017.  F.H. Furr agrees to reimburse the $483 that the customer spent for the service performed on 6/5/2017 as well as a $100 payment for the drywall that was cut.  The customer has accepted a full payment of $583 as settlement in full and is satisfied...
