[I paid for a cleaning and inspection. I NEVER saw [redacted] use the rods to clean, but I did leave the room for briefly to use the bathroom. When [redacted]'s wife came in from the truck, she took the rods and I questioned if he was going to use them. He said he already did. I told him in the past, the chimney guy went up and down several times and he said you only need to do it once. I don't believe [redacted] was able to put together the rods and disassemble them and clean chimney in the brief amount of time I was gone, but I had to trust him on it. Although I had a bad feeling he was ripping me off. I then inquired about an inspection and he told me I only paid for a cleaning. I read the groupon and he got very defensive and asked me " Are you trying to tell me how to do my job? I told you its safe". My 22 year old daughter was upstairs and heard the whole conversation. I told him I didn't know his job and that's why I hired him and then told him that in the past, they inspected downstairs, the roof and the basement. He asked what type of heat I had and I told him gas. He said you don't need an inspection if you have gas heat. I spoke to my bank about stopping payment on my check and they recommended waiting for it to clear. I then called [redacted] to tell him I wasn't satisfied and he shouted "Are [redacted] kidding me?" I called him on HIS abusive language and he said I came out and did the job and hung up on me. He wasn't professional. I was NEVER abusive. I feel he took advantage of me and I want my money back! As you can see from receipt (attached) NO inspection was done! I don't feel it's ok to be abusive. That's why I am complaining about [redacted]! He was angry and defensive when I simply asked about inspecting the safety of my chimney and he used the F bomb on me on the phone. HE is abusive and unprofessional. Not me!

[redacted]: [redacted] and his assistant clean my chimney twice a season - the rod part of the cleaning is quick because of how they work together. It's too bad you weren't present to see it - I think you would have been impressed. I am when I watch them.
